MP7 | Asterion

MP7 | Asterion is a CS2 SMG skin with a colorful, geometric labyrinth across its body. Dark blue, bright blue, turquoise, and green lines create a busy finish that extends onto the grips, magazine, and stock. Its angular look suits players who prefer patterned weapons over plain colors or character artwork. Buyers can choose from Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors, including Souvenir versions, but no StatTrak™ option exists.

Description

MP7 | Asterion brings a blue-and-green maze design to the MP7 SMG in CS2. The weapon is a German-made SMG intended for close-range combat, while Asterion supplies its distinctive cosmetic appearance. Its Spray-Paint finish uses interlocking angular shapes rather than lettering, illustrated characters, or a single uninterrupted color. The pattern reaches beyond the receiver, covering the magazine, grips, and rear stock for a coordinated appearance across the weapon. Mostly dark-blue treatment on the short barrel and top rail gives those parts a quieter appearance than the patterned body. The design suits players building a blue or green loadout who want visible detail without character-based artwork. Collection-focused buyers can also consider its place in The Gods and Monsters Collection when selecting a copy. For practical comparisons, the relevant listing details are exterior, exact float value, standard or Souvenir version, and the appearance of the individual item.

History and Origin

MP7 | Asterion was released on May 26, 2015. Its introduction came with the Operation Bloodhound update. The skin joined The Gods and Monsters Collection as part of that release, establishing its collection identity alongside its finish name. Valve created Asterion, so its origin differs from a finish credited to a community designer. Its accompanying flavor text challenges the worship of rulers and attributes that sentiment to Valeria Jenner, Revolutionary. Today, individual copies can be purchased through the Steam Community Market rather than acquired only through their original collection context. Player-to-player trades offer another current route, allowing the participants to agree on a specific exterior and version. Direct purchases through Eneba Skins also provide access to existing copies, separate from the skin's historical introduction.

Finish Style

Asterion's Spray-Paint finish turns a stenciled isometric labyrinth into an angular pattern across the MP7. The receiver combines dark blue, bright blue, turquoise, and green, creating a varied palette within the same geometric design. Interlocking zigzags and maze-like shapes give the main body its busy appearance without relying on illustrations or written details. The pattern continues down the vertical foregrip, carrying the receiver's visual theme onto that prominent weapon part. Both the pistol grip and long magazine receive the same patterned treatment rather than separate, contrasting designs. Coverage on the rear stock connects the back of the weapon with the maze running across the body. The short barrel and top rail remain mostly dark blue, with lighter blue accents adding smaller color details. With no visible lettering or character artwork, the finish's visual identity rests on its cool colors and repeating angular lines.

Float Value

MP7 | Asterion has an exact float range of 0.00 to 0.55. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of those exterior categories excluded. Souvenir versions are available; the version designation is separate from the exterior condition and exact float of a copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Asterion is Consumer Grade, with a 20.0% chance within The Gods and Monsters Collection, or about 1 in 5 outcomes. That probability concerns collection acquisition, not a guarantee attached to purchasing or trading an existing copy on a marketplace. Professional owners include FalleN, Kjaerbye, and Ax1Le, although their ownership alone does not establish the level of current buyer demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Blue, turquoise, and green colors suit coordinated loadouts

• Interlocking maze shapes give the MP7 a detailed geometric look

• Pattern coverage extends across the grips, magazine, and stock

• Souvenir versions offer an additional collecting option

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for MP7 | Asterion is $3.47 to $35.00. These bounds cover the skin as a whole and should not be treated as permanent prices for a particular exterior or version. Listings span Factory New through Battle-Scarred, so the exterior label is a useful starting point when comparing available copies. Exact float values distinguish listings within an exterior, while the Souvenir label identifies a separate version rather than a cosmetic condition. Before buying, compare the selected copy's float, version, visible finish, and asking price instead of relying on the overall range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP7 | Asterion can be bought on the Steam Community Market as an individual skin, allowing buyers to select an existing copy. Check its exterior and exact float, then confirm whether the listing is for the standard version or a Souvenir copy.

3. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain an existing MP7 | Asterion. Confirm the item's float and exterior, and verify its Souvenir designation if that is the desired version. Agree on the specific copy being exchanged rather than assuming every Asterion listing represents the same condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The skin has documented professional ownership, but that does not establish current buying volume or make it a reliable short-term flip. There is insufficient evidence to describe supply trends or sustained price growth, so comparisons should focus on the listings currently available. When buying, selling, or arranging a trade, separate standard and Souvenir copies and compare exact floats within the same exterior.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive blue-and-green geometric finish

• Membership in The Gods and Monsters Collection

• Souvenir option adds a separate collecting choice

• Documented ownership by professional players

The investment rating is medium, supported by a modest price level, documented professional ownership, and an identifiable collection finish. Its patterned appearance and Souvenir option provide reasons to collect it, but they do not prove future price growth. The main risk is uncertainty about supply and demand trends, so a low entry cost should not be mistaken for reliable returns.
