MP7 | Abyssal Apparition

MP7 | Abyssal Apparition is a CS2 SMG skin with colorful, nightmare-themed artwork. White and cyan spirits stretch across an orange-and-yellow body, framed by dark hardware. Its dense illustration suits players who prefer expressive horror imagery over a restrained finish. All exterior grades are available, along with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP7 | Abyssal Apparition brings a vivid supernatural scene to a German-made SMG in CS2. The MP7 itself is designed for close-range combat, while this finish gives its compact body a distinct visual identity. Its Custom Paint Job depicts lost souls descending into a nightmarish pit, establishing the artwork's horror theme. Ghostly white and cyan figures stand out against warm orange and yellow sections, with red details adding contrast. Mostly dark hardware frames the painted body rather than competing with its busy illustration. The look suits colorful loadouts and players who want recognizable character artwork on their SMG. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies give buyers different version options without changing the finish's central theme. Before buying, compare the exterior, exact float value and listing image to identify the copy that best matches the intended loadout.

History and Origin

MP7 | Abyssal Apparition was released on January 20, 2022, alongside the Dreams & Nightmares Case. Its introduction accompanied the Dreams & Nightmares Case Skins update. Niran, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, connecting its nightmare imagery to its collection identity. Opening the Dreams & Nightmares Case remains an acquisition route, separate from buying an existing skin. As of October 9, 2026, that case is in the Weekly Care Package drop pool, allowing new supply to enter the market. Current copies can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player trades. Trade Up Contracts provide another route through Restricted skins from the same collection, although the resulting Classified skin is random.

Finish Style

The receiver uses bright orange and yellow as the backdrop for the supernatural artwork. Twisting dark green and red lines cross those warm colors, making the surface feel busy rather than uniform. White and cyan ghostly figures extend across the center, pistol grip and curved magazine, with red accents defining faces and outlines. A prominent white skeletal face occupies the pistol grip, giving that section a clear visual focal point. Stacked, jagged cyan and red shapes continue below the face and reinforce the illustration's unsettling character. The vertical foregrip shifts to muted olive and brown, with orange and green markings tying it back to the body. The barrel, sights and stock remain mostly dark gray, creating a plain frame around the colorful painted sections. As a Custom Paint Job, the finish relies on dense illustrated imagery and strong color contrast rather than a restrained surface treatment.

Float Value

MP7 | Abyssal Apparition has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00, covering its full selection of exterior conditions. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade missing. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also exist, but those version labels are separate from a copy's float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Abyssal Apparition is Classified, making rarity a separate consideration from its exterior or version. Its chance of appearing from the Dreams & Nightmares Case is 1.07%, or about 1 in 94 openings. Professional players Snax, kennyS and jdm64 have owned the skin, providing documented visibility without establishing demand for every available variant.

Why it’s Popular:

• Ghostly character artwork gives the MP7 a distinct identity

• Orange, yellow and cyan create strong visual contrast

• Dark hardware frames the colorful painted body

• All exteriors plus StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live MP7 | Abyssal Apparition price range is $4.29 to $19.15. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than representing a fixed exterior or version. Exterior condition and exact float value help distinguish listings that otherwise share the same finish. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies through their individual listings instead of assuming a version label always carries a premium. When comparing the CS2 skin price, check the displayed artwork and condition alongside the current asking price before selecting a copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case

Opening the Dreams & Nightmares Case can award MP7 | Abyssal Apparition. Its listed chance is 1.07%, so opening the case does not guarantee this particular skin. This route also does not let buyers select a specific exterior or float.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Restricted skins from The Dreams & Nightmares Collection for 1 Classified skin from that collection. MP7 | Abyssal Apparition is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy MP7 | Abyssal Apparition on the Steam Community Market by choosing an existing listing rather than opening a case. Check the exterior and version carefully so the selected listing matches the intended purchase.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer a way to obtain the skin by exchanging items with another owner. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float and version before accepting, particularly when comparing standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Weekly Care Package availability keeps supply replenishing, which weakens the case for a scarcity-driven short-term flip. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish how quickly a particular copy will sell. Buyers planning to trade or resell should compare matching exteriors, floats and versions rather than relying on the Classified label alone.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive nightmare artwork and contrasting colors

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Classified rarity within an identifiable collection

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden buyer choice

The investment rating is medium, supported by distinctive artwork, Classified rarity and documented professional ownership. Continued case availability in the weekly drop pool is the main risk because new supply keeps entering the market. These qualities support consideration as a playable holding, not a promise of appreciation or an easy resale.
