Short Description

MP7 | Powercore is a CS2 SMG skin with a green-and-yellow Gunsmith finish. Dark panels, printed labels, and ribbed details give it a mechanical, equipment-inspired appearance. The look suits players building green loadouts or favoring industrial designs. All exterior tiers are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions.

Description

MP7 | Powercore gives the CS2 submachine gun a detailed, industrial-looking Gunsmith finish. The German-made MP7 is a versatile weapon suited to close-range combat. Its green body and yellow highlights establish the finish's main color contrast. Printed receiver labels add an equipment-like identity rather than a simple color treatment. Dark fittings and panels provide contrast around the brighter painted sections. This look suits players who prefer mechanical detail and coordinated green-and-yellow loadouts. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options within the same finish. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float, and version to select a copy that matches their preferences.

History and Origin

MP7 | Powercore was released on August 1, 2018, alongside the Horizon Case. Its introduction was part of the Horizon Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Endrit created the finish. The skin belongs to The Horizon Collection, which also provides its collection identity for trade-up contracts. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Horizon Case drops. Existing Horizon Cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Eligible trade-up contracts offer another way to obtain the finish from its collection. Today, direct market purchases and player-to-player trades also provide acquisition routes without relying on a random result.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish pairs a green base with yellow highlights and darker structural details. Green covers the receiver, front grip, and pistol grip, with darker panels breaking up the surfaces. Black fittings and the mostly dark sights and upper rail contrast with the painted body. Yellow accents appear on the muzzle, trigger, grip vents, and rear stock frame. The long, dark gray magazine has a yellow strip at its base. Fine lines, circular markings, and small printed labels make the receiver look mechanically detailed. A red P-CORE label sits above POWER TOOL lettering, reinforcing the equipment-inspired appearance. Ribbed sections, contrasting panels, and visible scuffed patches give the layout a busy, industrial character.

Float Value

MP7 | Powercore has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions exist; version choice should be checked separately from the exterior and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Powercore is a Restricted MP7 skin in The Horizon Collection. Its chance from a Horizon Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the case does not assure this result. Professional players NBK-, NEO, and mou have owned it, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Green panels and yellow accents create a clear industrial theme

• Detailed receiver labels add character to the MP7

• All exterior tiers offer different condition choices

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

Price Range

The live MP7 | Powercore price range is $0.74 to $61.59. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, rather than a fixed exterior or version. Its accessible price level makes careful listing comparison useful even for a modest purchase. Compare exterior, exact float, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status when checking the CS2 skin price. Inspect the listing image alongside those details before deciding which copy offers suitable condition for the asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Horizon Case

Open a Horizon Case for a chance at Powercore, with a 3.2% chance for this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

Trade-up contracts can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Horizon Collection for 1 Restricted result from that collection. Powercore is a possible result, but selection is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

MP7 | Powercore can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case opening. Check the exterior, float, and version shown on the individual listing before buying.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another route to acquiring Powercore through an agreed exchange. Confirm the offered skin's exterior, exact float, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Horizon Cases drop, although existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add Powercore copies. Professional ownership provides a visibility signal, not proof of consistent buyer demand or quick resale. Compare exterior, float, and version before setting a buy, sell, or trade price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Horizon Case drops

• Professional ownership by NBK-, NEO, and mou

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options

• Distinctive green-and-yellow industrial design

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case drops and professional ownership against limited evidence of market demand. Its accessible price level supports a measured purchase rather than expectations of returns. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, with additional copies still possible through case openings and trade-up contracts.
