MP7 | Sunbaked

MP7 | Sunbaked is a CS2 SMG skin with a Gunsmith finish and a map-like contour design. Dark brown, tan and muted gray-beige create an earthy palette, broken up by winding lines and pale speckles. The look suits players who prefer detailed surfaces over bright colors. It comes in every exterior, with regular and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

MP7 | Sunbaked gives the German-made MP7 a topographical treatment built around brown surfaces and fine contour lines in CS2. The Gunsmith finish combines a densely patterned main body with quieter gray-beige components. Its artwork extends across the receiver, folding foregrip and parts of the pistol grip, giving the pattern continuity across separate weapon parts. Dark sights and a short dark barrel frame the design, while the pale front plate adds a contrasting detail. The earthy color scheme suits players building a subdued loadout without giving up intricate artwork. Professional players Snax, kennyS and TaZ have owned the skin, placing it in professional inventories as well as ordinary loadouts. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value and regular or Souvenir status when choosing a copy. An individual weapon preview helps determine whether its visible condition matches the buyer's preferred appearance.

History and Origin

MP7 | Sunbaked arrived on April 24, 2023, in the "Anubis Skins" update. It debuted with The Anubis Collection, which remains its collection identity for both regular and Souvenir copies. SayChains created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. Today, existing copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades. The Souvenir version is associated with 4 packages, offering an additional acquisition route alongside direct purchases. Examples include the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package and Copenhagen 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package. Opening a compatible package offers a chance at a Souvenir copy, not a choice of the exact item or condition. For collectors seeking a particular exterior or float, buying an identified copy allows more control over the selection.

Finish Style

Sunbaked uses winding lines to suggest the layered contours of a topographical map. The dark brown receiver carries fine markings that resemble grooves, creating detail across the weapon's main surface. A tan folding foregrip repeats the contour pattern while changing the background color. Parts of the dark pistol grip carry the same artwork, connecting the lower surfaces to the receiver. The magazine, stock end and side rail use muted gray-beige tones with mottled markings. Small pale speckles interrupt those quieter surfaces and add texture without introducing a strong new color. The short barrel and sights remain dark gray, while the front plate has a distinctly bright, pale finish. Overall, this Gunsmith design concentrates its visual activity on the body and surrounds it with more restrained gray sections.

Float Value

MP7 | Sunbaked has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none missing from the standard exterior range. Regular and Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

MP7 | Sunbaked is Consumer Grade, a rarity classification separate from its exterior and version. Its acquisition chance from The Anubis Collection is 16.0%, which supports treating it as an accessible collection finish rather than a scarcity-led purchase. Souvenir availability adds a collectible version without changing the underlying Consumer Grade classification.

Why it’s Popular:

• Fine contour lines give the MP7 a distinctive map-like appearance

• Earthy brown and tan colors suit subdued loadouts

• Every exterior offers a different condition choice

• Souvenir versions add an event-linked collecting option

Price Range

The live MP7 | Sunbaked CS2 skin price ranges from $0.02 to $16.00. These bounds cover the whole item, not any fixed exterior or version. Compare regular and Souvenir listings separately, checking the exterior and exact float before judging an asking price. Its accessible price profile makes selecting the right copy practical, but a Souvenir label alone should not replace a careful listing comparison.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an eligible Anubis Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain a Souvenir MP7 | Sunbaked. Supported examples include the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package and Copenhagen 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package. This route offers a possible result, while a direct listing lets buyers select a specific available copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy regular or Souvenir copies on the Steam Community Market, choosing among the exterior and version listings available. Inspect the individual copy's float and visible condition before purchase. A direct purchase avoids the uncertainty of opening a package for this particular finish.

4. Trade with Other Players

MP7 | Sunbaked can also be obtained by trading with other players who own a copy. Confirm the exact exterior and whether the item is regular or Souvenir before comparing offers. Inspect its float and appearance so the exchange is based on the actual item, not only the Sunbaked name.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The accessible price profile and Consumer Grade rarity favor practical loadout purchases over a scarcity-led investment case. Regular and Souvenir variants provide comparison options, but professional ownership alone does not establish sustained trading demand. Supply direction and price trends remain uncertain, so buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should assess current listings rather than expect predictable resale gains.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible entry price for loadout buyers

• Distinctive contour artwork and earthy palette

• Souvenir options connected to Anubis event packages

• Ownership by Snax, kennyS and TaZ

The investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting its accessible pricing, Consumer Grade rarity and limited evidence of sustained demand. Its detailed finish, Souvenir options and professional ownership support a collectible or playable purchase more clearly than a strong investment thesis. The main risk is assuming that a low purchase price or Souvenir label will translate into resale gains.
