Saber Interactive, the developer of fairly popular zombie game World War Z based on a novel and a movie of the same name, recently shared a Tweet in which it announces a new feature coming to the game today. From now on, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to enjoy the game together!

While the support for PlayStation 4 arrives a bit later, PC and Xbox One players are already playing together. However, fans of the game poured some salt Sony’s way stating that the company is intentionally prolonging the process of cross-play implementation. The question is why? Why would Sony want to delay the inevitable?

Anyway, it’s nice to know that this feature is coming. World War Z might be super relevant right now and cross-play during the time of social distancing might be a great way to allow certain players to reconnect with their friends. If you have some friends playing this game on consoles, you can check out our deal for the PC version.
