Seems like the upcoming holiday season made Sony pull out some heavy hitters for their PlayStation Plus subscribers. Throughout the present month, PlayStation Plus offered two awesome games to download for free – Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3. However, in October we’re getting even bigger names that should please a lot of people – The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19.
The Last of Us Remastered
Hardcore PlayStation fans need no introduction for the game or a studio that stands behind it. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us became one of the biggest titles during PlayStation 3 era. The Last of Us Remastered is the enhanced version of the iconic title dedicated for PlayStation 4, boasting improved visuals and squashed bugs. It’s even more appealing now since we already know that we’re getting a direct sequel to the game – The Last of Us Part II is coming out next February. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already!
MLB The Show 19
We know that sports games might not be everyone’s cup of tea but MLB The Show 19 is a great addition to any library. In addition to normal play modes, MLB The Show has a lot of incentives that can keep players busy for a hefty while. For example, “Moments” game mode allows players to relive historical moments in MLB history, while the “Road to the Show” mode allows players to create their own baseball player and then rise up as a true star. So, if you’re into baseball or sports in general, be sure to grab your free copy of the game.
Both games will be available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers from October 1st and until November 4th.
