A few days back we shared a new list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members in May. Now it’s time to take a look at Sony’s offerings for the fans of PlayStation! Next month PlayStation Plus members will get access to three more titles: Wreckfest, Battlefield 5, and Stranded Deep.

Wreckfest (PS5)

This month PlayStation 5 owners who got an active PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to enjoy Wreckfest – a wacky racing/demolition derby game which is better described as the spiritual successor to the FlatOut series. This game was originally released for PC back in 2018 and received PS4 and Xbox One console ports a year later. Now, the game is gearing for another re-release on PlayStation 5, boasting enhanced 4K 60FPS visuals, and an expansive online gameplay featuring up to 24 players in a match. So, if you’re a fan of old-school racing/demolition derby games, be sure to check this one out for free! You will be able to grab it from May 4th.

Battlefield 5 (PS4)

Battlefield series needs no introduction as every FPS genre fan knows what to expect from the game. Battlefield 5 is the latest entry in DICE’s long-running FPS series that takes players back to World War 2 setting. The game features a solid amount of solo and co-op missions, however, its main attractions lie with multiple online game modes and its huge community of players. It’s also worth pointing out that DICE is already working with the game’s sequel so it might be a perfect time to refresh your muscle memory and get ready for the future.

Stranded Deep (PS4)

The last game on PlayStation Plus free games list is Stranded Deep – a first-person open-world survival game that has a very unique setting. Instead of running around in an endless forest searching for wood and rocks, you’ll have to survive in an ocean. You’ll have to craft your raft, explore vast underwater areas and a small patch of land as you hunt for supplies to craft the tools, weapons, and shelter. Sounds interesting? Be sure to grab it for free starting next Tuesday.

It’s worth pointing out that there’s still some time to grab previous PlayStation Plus games that included Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. Old offerings will be available until May 3rd.

PS Plus subscribers can already check out what free games await them in June!
