About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition and is linked to float value. FAMAS | Valence ranges from 0.00 to 0.80 and is available in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's grade and relates to its chance of appearing in a case opening. FAMAS | Valence is Restricted, with a stated 3.2% chance from the Operation Wildfire Case.

How much does FAMAS | Valence cost in CS2?

FAMAS | Valence ranges from $2.22 to $34.75. The bounds cover the whole skin; compare individual exteriors, floats and versions.

Which case contains FAMAS | Valence?

FAMAS | Valence is available from the Operation Wildfire Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does FAMAS | Valence have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

Yes, FAMAS | Valence has both StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions. Check the version separately from the exterior and float value when comparing listings.

Can FAMAS | Valence be obtained through a trade-up?

Yes, 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Wildfire Collection can produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. FAMAS | Valence is a possible result, but the outcome is random.

Short Description

FAMAS | Valence is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, combining dark gray panels with angular red accents. Its geometric design follows the weapon's shape, with orange details adding contrast around the front section. The restrained base and bright outlines suit players building a gray-and-red loadout. All exterior tiers are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

FAMAS | Valence gives the Counter-Terrorist rifle a modern, custom-painted appearance built around gray surfaces and sharp red lines. The weapon itself fills the budget gap between more expensive rifles and SMGs, making the finish relevant to players who regularly choose the FAMAS. Dark areas across the receiver, carry handle and stock establish a subdued foundation for the brighter details. Nested outlines and small circular accents keep the design detailed without replacing that restrained color scheme. A red-orange strip along the upper receiver adds another focal point beyond the thin edge markings. The look suits players who prefer structured geometry rather than an illustration spread across the rifle. Documented owners include professional players coldzera, Edward and TACO, providing a supported connection to professional inventories. Buyers can compare exterior condition, exact float value and available versions when choosing a copy for their CS2 loadout.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Valence was released on February 17, 2016. It arrived in the Operation Wildfire update alongside the Operation Wildfire Case, establishing its original case association. Coridium, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Wildfire Collection, which also determines its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Operation Wildfire Case no longer drops. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, so the retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player. Trade Up Contracts provide a separate route using eligible Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Wildfire Collection, although the Restricted result is random.

Finish Style

The finish is classified as Patina, with a visible design centered on custom-painted red and gray geometry. Dark gray and black cover much of the receiver, carry handle and stock, giving the weapon a consistent base. Lighter gray panels around the upper receiver and grip break up those darker sections. Thin red lines trace edges and form nested angular outlines across the receiver and stock. A long red-orange bar follows the upper receiver, while orange details appear around the barrel and beneath the front section. The barrel remains dark, ending in a light gray muzzle that contrasts with the nearby warm accents. The curved metallic-gray magazine has long recessed grooves, introducing a different surface detail below the main body. Small red circles and a faint dark grid complete the design, balancing subtle texture with the more visible geometric markings.

Float Value

FAMAS | Valence has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.80. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior tier is excluded. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also exist, with version availability treated separately from the cosmetic condition described by an exterior and its float.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Valence is a Restricted skin from The Wildfire Collection. Its stated chance from an Operation Wildfire Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the case does not guarantee this particular finish. Ownership by coldzera, Edward and TACO gives it documented professional visibility, but does not establish market demand or resale speed.

Why it’s Popular:

• Angular red outlines contrast with a restrained gray base

• Geometric detailing follows the FAMAS's shape

• All exterior tiers offer different condition choices

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir options broaden version choice

• Documented ownership by coldzera, Edward and TACO

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Valence price range is $2.22 to $34.75. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version, so individual listings need separate comparison. Exterior and exact float value help distinguish condition within the available range, including copies sharing the same exterior label. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions should also be identified before comparing a CS2 skin price or choosing a listing. Buyers planning to buy, sell or trade can use Eneba Skins to compare current offers without assuming every variant follows the same pricing pattern.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Wildfire Case

Opening an Operation Wildfire Case offers a chance to obtain FAMAS | Valence, with a stated probability of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Wildfire Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Valence is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins rather than guaranteed.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

An existing FAMAS | Valence can be purchased through the Steam Community Market without relying on a random case result. Check the listed exterior and version, then compare the available item details with the condition being sought.

5. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with another player who owns a copy. Before accepting, verify the item name, exterior, float value and whether the offered version is standard, StatTrak™ or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits the supply of Operation Wildfire Cases, but remaining case openings and Trade Up Contracts can still create additional copies of the skin. Professional ownership supports its visibility, although that alone cannot establish demand, a price trend or how quickly a copy will sell. Practical comparisons should separate exterior, float and version rather than treating every Valence listing as an interchangeable trading opportunity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Operation Wildfire Case supply

• Documented professional ownership

• Distinctive red-and-gray geometric finish

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir version choices

• Established place in The Wildfire Collection

The investment rating is medium, reflecting retired case supply, documented professional ownership and a distinctive finish with several available versions. These factors provide reasons to consider a holding, but they do not establish future appreciation. The main risk is continued skin creation through existing cases and trade-ups, without an established price trend supporting a return forecast.
