About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality affects a skin's cosmetic condition, with its exterior determined by its float value. Survivor Z spans 0.00 to 0.60 across all exterior tiers, but its distressed paint is part of the design, so compare individual item images too.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is the grade used to distinguish skins and their frequency in case openings. FAMAS | Survivor Z is Mil-Spec Grade, with an 11.42% chance from the Shadow Case.

How much does FAMAS | Survivor Z cost?

FAMAS | Survivor Z ranges from $0.28 to $30.00. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare each listing's exterior, float and version.

Which case contains FAMAS | Survivor Z?

FAMAS | Survivor Z comes from the Shadow Case and belongs to The Shadow Collection. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

What exteriors are available for FAMAS | Survivor Z?

FAMAS | Survivor Z is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.60.

Does FAMAS | Survivor Z have StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions?

Yes, FAMAS | Survivor Z has both StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions alongside regular copies. Confirm the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Short Description

FAMAS | Survivor Z is a CS2 rifle skin with a distressed, stencil-based Custom Paint Job. Red-orange shapes and fine off-white markings cover a dark gray base, giving the weapon a deliberately rough appearance. The look suits players who prefer bold color and busy detailing over a polished finish. All exterior tiers are available, alongside regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The FAMAS | Survivor Z is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist FAMAS rifle, finished with a distressed Custom Paint Job. Broad red-orange shapes cover its dark gray body, while off-white lines interrupt the larger colored panels. That combination gives the rifle a busy appearance built around angular shapes and scratch-like detail. The FAMAS itself fills a budget role between higher-priced rifles and SMGs. This finish suits players who want strong color contrast without a clean, uniform paint scheme. Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions provide different item types to consider alongside exterior condition. Happy, aizy and RUBINO are among the professional players who own the skin. Before choosing a copy, buyers can compare its version, float value and individual appearance rather than relying on the exterior label alone.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Survivor Z was released in CS:GO on September 17, 2015, alongside the Shadow Case. Its debut was part of the Shadow Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer smkss created the finish. The skin belongs to The Shadow Collection. Opening the Shadow Case was its original case-based acquisition route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Shadow Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so retirement has not removed that route for obtaining the skin. Today, direct market purchases and player trades also let buyers select an existing copy instead of relying on a case result.

Finish Style

Survivor Z uses a Custom Paint Job built around masking-tape stencils and an intentionally distressed treatment. Dark gray forms the base across the receiver, carry handle, stock, grip and magazine. Broad red-orange stripes and angular patches divide those surfaces into uneven blocks of color. Thin off-white lines cross the painted sections, adding finer detail over the larger stencil shapes. The front of the stock has denser diagonal markings, making that area particularly busy. Irregular pale scuffs and broken patches interrupt the colored areas as part of the finish's rough visual character. The barrel and recessed section beneath the carry handle remain mostly dark gray or black. These plainer areas contrast with the painted body, keeping the visual focus on the bold shapes and fine markings.

Float Value

FAMAS | Survivor Z has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior tiers excluded. Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available, while version type remains separate from the item's float-based cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Survivor Z has Mil-Spec Grade rarity within The Shadow Collection. Its chance from a Shadow Case is 11.42%, or about 1 in 9 openings. The retired case remains openable, so its rarity and case status do not mean the skin can no longer be obtained.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bold red-orange shapes stand out against the dark gray base

• Distressed detailing suits deliberately rough-looking loadouts

• All exterior tiers offer a choice of conditions

• Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions provide different ownership options

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Survivor Z price range is $0.28 to $30.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings according to the condition sought. Check the individual float value and item image, since the distressed design already includes pale scuffs and broken paint shapes. Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir listings should also be distinguished before comparing purchase prices or setting a selling price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

FAMAS | Survivor Z can be obtained by opening a Shadow Case, with an 11.42% chance of receiving the skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. Opening one does not guarantee this specific finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the skin directly on the Steam Community Market to choose a listed copy instead of opening a case. Check the exterior, float value and whether the listing is regular, StatTrak™ or Souvenir before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

FAMAS | Survivor Z can also be acquired through trades with other players who own a copy. Confirm the exact version, exterior and float before accepting, and compare current listings when assessing the proposed exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Shadow Case no longer receives new drops, but openings of existing cases can still add Survivor Z copies to circulation. Its affordable price level makes it accessible as a play skin, with exterior and version remaining useful comparison points. Evidence of resale demand and price trends is limited, so traders should not assume easy sales or appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Shadow Case no longer receives new drops

• Distinctive red-orange stencil design

• Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir options

• Ownership by Happy, aizy and RUBINO

The investment rating is medium, reflecting its retired case source, affordable price level and known professional ownership. These points support considering it as a modest collectible rather than a purchase based on expected returns. Continued case openings can add skins, while uncertain resale demand remains the main risk.
