Short Description

FAMAS | Djinn is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist FAMAS, combining dark charcoal surfaces with gold and nickel detailing. Engraved scrollwork and a jinn figure give it an ornamental look. It suits players who prefer intricate metalwork over bright color blocks. All exterior grades are available, alongside standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

FAMAS | Djinn brings an engraved, metal-inlaid design to a Counter-Terrorist rifle in CS2. The weapon fills a budget role between more expensive rifles and SMGs, while this finish adds a decorative identity. Dark charcoal covers much of the receiver, carry handle, stock and grip. Gold-colored lines trace these surfaces, with the detailed jinn figure positioned above the magazine on the rear receiver. Broad, plain areas balance the ornamentation rather than covering every visible part with decoration. The result suits players building a dark loadout who still want detailed artwork on their rifle. Buyers can compare exterior grades and exact float values to choose the condition that fits their preferences. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings provide further options, so the version deserves attention alongside the finish and exterior.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Djinn was released on April 15, 2015, alongside the Chroma 2 Case. Its debut came through the update named "Chroma 2 Case Skins". Gaunt, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which also defines its supported trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Chroma 2 Case no longer drops, separating its current supply from its original introduction. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Today, players can also obtain existing copies through marketplace purchases or player trades, while eligible trade-up contracts offer another randomized route.

Finish Style

The Djinn uses a Patina finish built around gold and nickel inlays and engraved imagery. Its main surfaces are dark charcoal, creating a restrained background for the brighter metal details. Fine gold-colored lines decorate the receiver, carry handle, stock and grip. Flowing, flame-like scrollwork runs around the carry handle and continues across the body. Similar ornamentation reaches the stock and lower grip, connecting the decorative areas across the rifle. A detailed jinn figure appears on the rear receiver above the magazine, giving the finish its central subject. Silver-colored accents appear on the barrel, exposed side rod and circular fittings. The curved magazine also carries a silver-colored appearance, with long recessed grooves adding a different texture. Intricate engraved sections sit beside broad, plain dark surfaces, keeping the composition detailed without making every part equally busy.

Float Value

FAMAS | Djinn has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade excluded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but version availability is a separate listing detail from the copy's float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Djinn has Classified rarity. Its stated chance from the Chroma 2 Case is 1.07%, so opening a case does not reliably target this specific finish. Professional players Happy, tarik and n0thing own the skin, providing documented ownership without establishing how strongly buyers currently demand it.

Why it’s Popular:

• Gold and nickel detailing against a dark charcoal base

• Distinctive jinn artwork above the magazine

• Intricate scrollwork balanced by plain surfaces

• All exterior grades, plus StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Djinn price range is $10.12 to $67.03. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check the exterior grade and exact float value of each listing. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies should be distinguished rather than treated as interchangeable purchase options. Compare the asking price against the specific copy being offered, using its condition and version instead of assuming the overall range identifies a matching item.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 2 Case

Open an existing Chroma 2 Case for a chance to obtain FAMAS | Djinn. The case no longer drops, but market-bought cases can still be opened; the skin's stated opening chance is 1.07%.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract uses 10 Restricted skins from The Chroma 2 Collection to produce 1 Classified skin from that collection. Djinn is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

FAMAS | Djinn can be bought on the Steam Community Market as an existing item. Check the listing's exterior, float and version before buying, especially when comparing copies that share the same finish name.

5. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain an existing copy by trading with another player. Confirm the full item name, exterior, float and version in the offered item rather than relying only on its appearance.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Chroma 2 Cases drop, but existing case openings and trade-up contracts can still add copies of the skin. Available listings include several exteriors and StatTrak versions, without establishing a long-term price trend or resale liquidity. Before deciding to buy, sell or trade, compare matching versions and inspect each copy's float value.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source case with no new drops

• Professional ownership by Happy, tarik and n0thing

• Detailed gold and nickel ornamentation

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer distinct collecting options

The investment rating is medium, supported by the retired source case, distinctive finish and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain ongoing buyer demand, while existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce additional copies.
