FAMAS | Meow 36

FAMAS | Meow 36 is a CS2 rifle skin with layered olive-green graphics and a subdued number 36 on its receiver. Dark angular panels, pale accents and small geometric markings give the weapon a technical appearance. The finish suits green-themed loadouts and players who prefer detailed graphics without a bright palette. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

FAMAS | Meow 36 gives the Counter-Terrorist rifle a green graphic finish built around angular shapes and restrained lettering. The underlying weapon fills a budget role between SMGs and more expensive rifles. Its Gunsmith finish concentrates the decorative work across the receiver, carry handle, stock and magazine. A large number 36 anchors the side of the body, while MEOW lettering adds a smaller identifying detail near the top. Dark barrel and grip components balance the patterned green surfaces rather than extending the artwork across every visible part. This combination suits players seeking a coordinated green loadout with enough detail to reward a closer look. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options give buyers different versions to consider without changing the finish's central visual theme. When choosing a copy, the useful comparison points are its exterior, exact float value, version and visible condition in the listing image.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Meow 36 was introduced on July 1, 2022, alongside the Recoil Case. Its release came through the Recoil Case Skins update. Des, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Recoil Collection, connecting its collection identity with its original case release. That historic introduction is separate from the case's current availability through in-game drops. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Recoil Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Players can also acquire an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player, without opening a case.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish uses an olive-green base across the receiver, carry handle, stock and magazine. Darker angular panels break up those surfaces, with pale green accents adding contrast inside the same color family. Thin lines and diagonal stripes create a layered graphic treatment rather than a uniform coat of green. Small geometric markings contribute detail around the larger shapes without replacing the central receiver graphic. The subdued number 36 occupies the side of the receiver, making it part of the pattern rather than a bright focal point. MEOW lettering appears near the top of the carry handle, giving the upper section its own identifying mark. The barrel, muzzle and much of the grip remain dark gray or black, with metallic-looking edges around the trigger guard. Overall, the moderately busy green body is balanced by relatively plain dark components, keeping the weapon's different sections visually distinct.

Float Value

The float range is 0.00 to 1.00, supporting Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred exteriors. The exterior describes cosmetic condition, so buyers should compare the exact float and item image when selecting a copy. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, with version choice kept separate from the assessment of wear.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Meow 36 is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin in The Recoil Collection. Its chance of appearing from a Recoil Case opening is 11.42%, so opening the case does not ensure this particular result. Owners include professional players kennyS, s1mple and f0rest, although those individual holdings do not establish broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Layered olive-green graphics suit green-themed loadouts

• Subdued numbering gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Plain dark components balance the busier body pattern

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collection choices

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Meow 36 price range is $0.04 to $4.00. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than identifying a fixed price for any particular exterior or version. Exterior and exact float are useful comparison points when checking the CS2 skin price against a copy's cosmetic condition. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings should also be compared separately so the selected version matches the intended purchase. Before buying or selling, inspect the item image and compare equivalent listings rather than treating every copy with the same finish name as interchangeable.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Recoil Case

Open an existing Recoil Case for a chance to obtain this skin from The Recoil Collection. The chance of receiving Meow 36 is 11.42%, so a case opening may produce a different item. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for FAMAS | Meow 36. Check the listing's exterior and version, then inspect any available item details before choosing a copy. Buying an existing skin avoids depending on the result of a Recoil Case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

FAMAS | Meow 36 can be acquired through a trade with another player. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status with the intended item. Confirm that the item in the exchange matches those details before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Recoil Case retirement removes new case drops, while existing cases can still generate additional copies of the skin when opened. The accessible price level and professional ownership provide context, but neither establishes future demand or a history of price growth. Compare exterior, exact float and version before deciding to buy, sell or trade this FAMAS, rather than basing the decision on case retirement alone.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Recoil Case drops

• Ownership by established professional players

• Accessible entry price for a rifle skin

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium. Retired case drops and professional ownership offer support, while its accessible price makes it approachable as a skin to use and hold. The main risk is that case retirement alone does not establish rising demand or future price gains, especially while existing cases remain available to open.
