About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition and is linked to float value, not the StatTrak or Souvenir label. Decommissioned supports every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's item grade and relates to its case-opening availability. Decommissioned is Mil-Spec Grade, with an 11.42% chance from the CS20 Case.

How much does FAMAS | Decommissioned cost?

FAMAS | Decommissioned ranges from $0.25 to $32.00. Compare the exterior, float and version of each listing.

Which case contains FAMAS | Decommissioned?

FAMAS | Decommissioned comes from the CS20 Case. That case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened.

What exteriors are available for FAMAS | Decommissioned?

FAMAS | Decommissioned comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 1.00.

Does FAMAS | Decommissioned have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, FAMAS | Decommissioned is available in both StatTrak and Souvenir versions, alongside the standard version. Check the version label separately from the exterior.

Short Description

FAMAS | Decommissioned is a CS2 rifle skin with muted blue-gray panels, brown patches and yellow hazard stripes. Its busy industrial appearance suits Counter-Terrorist loadouts built around machinery-inspired details. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

The FAMAS | Decommissioned is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist FAMAS rifle. The weapon serves as a budget rifle option between more expensive rifles and SMGs. Its Custom Paint Job turns the body into a collection of contrasting industrial panels. Muted blue-gray and brown surfaces provide the base, while yellow hazard stripes supply a brighter accent. The dark barrel and grip keep the brighter details concentrated on the body and magazine. This look suits players who prefer machinery-inspired artwork and facility markings over a uniform color scheme. Buyers can choose an exterior and version separately, balancing their preferred condition against the available listings. For a purchase or trade, compare the exact float value and item details rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

The FAMAS | Decommissioned debuted on October 18, 2019, alongside the CS20 Case. That launch came through the "CS20 Case Skins" update. Kai created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The CS20 Collection. Its artwork draws on elements of de_nuke from Counter-Strike 1.6, giving the industrial design a specific map connection. The flavor text presents the rifle as property to be returned to Cedar Creek Nuclear Power Plant. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the CS20 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, while the skin itself remains obtainable through marketplace purchases and player trades.

Finish Style

Decommissioned uses a Custom Paint Job built around industrial surfaces inspired by de_nuke in Counter-Strike 1.6. The receiver and carry handle are predominantly muted blue-gray, interrupted by brown patches and pale streaks. The barrel, magazine and pistol grip are dark, providing contrast with the colored body. Brown sections surround a gray inset panel on the rear stock. Red-orange vertical panels line the top of the rear body and add a concentrated strip of warm color. Bright yellow diagonal hazard stripes cross the lower magazine, reinforcing the nuclear-facility theme. Mesh-like textures beneath the receiver and on the grip contrast with the flatter painted panels. Panel seams, bolts and differently textured sections give the finish a busy, mechanical character rather than a smooth, uniform surface.

Float Value

The FAMAS | Decommissioned float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior categories excluded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions exist, and those version labels are separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Decommissioned has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity designation. Its stated chance from a CS20 Case opening is 11.42%, so opening the case does not guarantee this finish. Documented professional owners include apEX, NiKo and mixwell, although ownership alone does not establish market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Industrial artwork inspired by de_nuke from Counter-Strike 1.6

• Yellow hazard stripes against muted blue-gray panels

• Textured details across the receiver, stock and grip

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions available

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Decommissioned CS2 skin price range is $0.25 to $32.00. Check the exterior and exact float alongside the asking price, especially when comparing copies within the same wear tier. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be compared separately, without assuming their prices move together. Use individual listing details when choosing a skin to buy, sell or trade, since the range covers the entire item.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the CS20 Case

Opening the CS20 Case can award this Mil-Spec Grade skin, with a stated chance of 11.42%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can be purchased and opened without guaranteeing this particular result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The FAMAS | Decommissioned can be bought on the Steam Community Market. Check the listed exterior, float and version to select a specific copy rather than relying on a case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain the finish without opening its case. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float and whether the offered copy is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The CS20 Case receives no new drops, but openings of existing cases can still add Decommissioned copies. Low-priced standard and StatTrak listings make entry accessible, although listing coverage does not establish sustained buying demand. Compare exterior, float and version before a trade; price history and resale speed remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired CS20 Case receives no new drops

• Map-inspired artwork connects to Counter-Strike 1.6

• Owned by apEX, NiKo and mixwell

• Broad exterior selection with multiple version options

The investment rating is medium, reflecting the retired case supply, low entry cost and documented professional ownership. These factors support a collector's case for holding it, but not a forecast of price growth. Existing cases can still add skins, while demand strength and resale speed remain uncertain.
