About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes the exterior condition associated with a skin's float value. Mecha Industries spans Factory New to Battle-Scarred; the exact float provides more detail than the exterior label alone.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's grade, separate from its exterior condition. Mecha Industries is Classified and has a 1.07% chance of appearing from a Glove Case opening.

How much does FAMAS | Mecha Industries cost?

FAMAS | Mecha Industries ranges from $15.50 to $135.70. The bounds cover the whole skin, so compare the exterior, float and version of individual listings.

What exteriors does FAMAS | Mecha Industries have?

FAMAS | Mecha Industries comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.50.

Which case contains FAMAS | Mecha Industries?

The Glove Case contains FAMAS | Mecha Industries. It no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does FAMAS | Mecha Industries have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, FAMAS | Mecha Industries has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Short Description

FAMAS | Mecha Industries is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around a pale, mechanical design. Off-white panels, black recesses and red-orange accents give the weapon a science-fiction look. It suits players who prefer angular detailing over dense artwork. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

FAMAS | Mecha Industries gives the CS2 rifle a Gunsmith finish with contrasting pale surfaces and dark structural details. The FAMAS fills a budget role between more expensive rifles and SMGs on the Counter-Terrorist side. This finish emphasizes the weapon's shape through angular panels rather than covering it with a large illustration. Thin red-orange accents add color around the upper frame, receiver and stock without dominating the design. Its restrained palette suits loadouts centered on white, gray and black equipment. Ownership by Edward, dupreeh and f0rest also gives the skin a connection to professional players. Buyers can choose a standard copy or consider the available StatTrak and Souvenir versions. When comparing listings, exterior, exact float value and version help distinguish copies that share the same finish name.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Mecha Industries was released in CS:GO on November 28, 2016. It arrived with the Glove Case through the Glove Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer coyote37 created the finish. The skin belongs to The Glove Collection, linking its collection identity to its original case release. Its flavor text adds a playful reference to colorful animated hairstyles and robot companions, matching the science-fiction styling. The Glove Case no longer drops following Valve's retirement of the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed that acquisition route. Today, buyers can also obtain the skin through marketplace listings, player trades or an eligible trade-up contract.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish uses off-white and pale gray across much of the receiver, carry handle and stock. Black recessed sections break up those light surfaces and define the weapon's mechanical structure. Thin red-orange lines follow portions of the upper frame, receiver and stock, with matching accents near the trigger and muzzle. A dark gray barrel ends in a pale muzzle attachment, continuing the light-and-dark contrast toward the front. The curved magazine has dark panels bordered by light edges rather than a solid block of color. Pale finger grooves distinguish the grip, while rows of small circular indentations add detail to the stock. Angular panel shapes, small markings and ribbed elements create texture without relying on dense decorative artwork. Together, these details give the rifle a science-fiction character while keeping its individual components visually distinct.

Float Value

The float value range for FAMAS | Mecha Industries is 0.00 to 0.50. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Mecha Industries has Classified rarity, which is separate from its exterior condition or version. Its chance of appearing from a Glove Case opening is 1.07%, so opening a case does not reliably secure this particular finish. Edward, dupreeh and f0rest have owned the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Off-white panels and black recesses create a clear science-fiction look

• Red-orange accents add color without overwhelming the mechanical design

• All exterior grades give buyers a broad condition choice

• StatTrak and Souvenir options suit different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Mecha Industries price range is $15.50 to $135.70. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, separate standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings before assessing individual offers. Check the exact float alongside the exterior label, since the label alone does not identify a copy's precise condition. Buyers should inspect the listed item, while sellers can compare matching versions and exteriors rather than relying only on the overall range.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Glove Case

Open a Glove Case for a chance to receive this finish, with a 1.07% chance of obtaining it. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open. Buying the skin directly avoids the uncertainty of the case result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Restricted skins from The Glove Collection produces 1 Classified skin from that collection. Mecha Industries is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins. Compare the input cost with a direct purchase before choosing this route.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

FAMAS | Mecha Industries can be bought on the Steam Community Market. Check each offer's exterior and version, then inspect the item details before purchasing. A direct listing allows the buyer to select a specific copy instead of accepting a random case or contract result.

5. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through a trade with another player. Confirm the FAMAS finish, exterior, float and version in the offered item before accepting. Compare the exchange against matching market listings rather than treating every Mecha Industries copy as equivalent.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Glove Case supply supports a scarcity argument, but existing case openings and trade-up contracts can still add copies of this finish. Professional ownership provides visibility without establishing how quickly listings sell or how strong current buyer demand is. Before a buy, sell or trade decision, compare matching exteriors and versions; future price direction and resale speed remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Glove Case drops

• Classified rarity with limited case-opening odds

• Ownership by Edward, dupreeh and f0rest

• Distinctive pale panels and mechanical detailing

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired case supply, Classified rarity and professional ownership. These factors offer a reason to consider holding the skin, not a promise that every version will appreciate. The main risk is that case openings and trade-ups can add skin supply while future buyer demand remains uncertain.
