FAMAS | CaliCamo

FAMAS | CaliCamo is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist rifle, featuring a VariCamo Hydrographic finish. Sandy beige, olive brown, dark brown, and muted reddish orange form irregular camouflage patches across much of the weapon. The earthy palette suits players who prefer detailed camouflage with a mostly plain reddish-brown grip. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with regular and Souvenir versions.

Description

The FAMAS | CaliCamo is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around an irregular camouflage finish. The weapon fills a budget role between more expensive rifles and SMGs, making this finish relevant to players using that lower-cost rifle option. Across the main body, sandy beige mixes with olive brown, dark brown, and muted reddish orange instead of a single dominant color. Small mottled marks and jagged patch boundaries give the surface a layered appearance. A mostly solid reddish-brown pistol grip interrupts the camouflage, keeping that part visually separate from the patterned receiver and stock. The look suits players who prefer warm, earthy colors and a busy camouflage pattern over an uncluttered surface. Recorded professional owners include FalleN, s1mple, and shox, although ownership alone does not establish a market trend. Buyers can compare regular and Souvenir copies, checking the exterior, exact float value, and individual listing images before choosing a version.

History and Origin

FAMAS | CaliCamo arrived in CS:GO on September 21, 2021, with The 2021 Mirage Collection during the Operation Riptide update. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. Its VariCamo Hydrographic finish connects the CaliCamo name with the patterned treatment applied to the rifle. Souvenir availability extends across 8 packages associated with its collection. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Mirage Souvenir Package. Today, existing regular and Souvenir copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through player trades. Opening a relevant Mirage Souvenir Package offers another route to a Souvenir copy, without guaranteeing this particular finish. For the regular version, eligible Consumer Grade skins from its collection can also be used in a Trade Up Contract.

Finish Style

The CaliCamo finish uses Hydrographic styling to spread a VariCamo pattern across the rifle rather than leaving the body a uniform color. Its sandy beige patches sit alongside olive brown and dark brown, while muted reddish orange adds a warmer accent. The receiver carries irregular shapes with small mottled marks inside them, combining broad patches with finer surface detail. Jagged edges separate the patches, giving the camouflage uneven boundaries rather than clean, straight lines. The pattern also reaches the carry handle, barrel, magazine, and stock, keeping much of the weapon visually busy. The pistol grip and much of the trigger guard are mostly solid reddish brown, providing a clear break from that pattern. Dark areas remain visible through the carry-handle opening and along the upper rear portion of the rifle. Together, the mixed earth tones, dense mottling, and plain grip give CaliCamo a warm, textured appearance suited to camouflage-focused loadouts.

Float Value

The FAMAS | CaliCamo float range is 0.00 to 0.60. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, covering the full exterior selection within that range. Regular and Souvenir versions exist, but there is no StatTrak™ version; version availability is separate from an individual copy's exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | CaliCamo has Industrial Grade rarity in The 2021 Mirage Collection, a classification separate from its exterior condition. Its collection-level outcome chance is 4.0%, about 1 in 25 outcomes. Trade-up results are random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins, while market purchases let buyers choose an existing copy.

Why it’s Popular:

• Earthy camouflage with jagged patches and fine mottled detail

• Patterned body balanced by a mostly solid reddish-brown grip

• Regular and Souvenir options across the available exteriors

• Recorded ownership by FalleN, s1mple, and shox

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for FAMAS | CaliCamo is $0.19 to $5.59. These bounds cover the entire skin, not a permanently assigned exterior or regular versus Souvenir version. Its low-cost market position makes it approachable, but listings still need to be matched by exterior and version before drawing price comparisons. Float value gives a more specific condition measure than the exterior label, making it worth checking alongside each listing's images. Check the final purchase terms when choosing where to buy, and use comparable copies when setting a sell or trade target.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a Mirage Souvenir Package containing The 2021 Mirage Collection for a chance at a Souvenir CaliCamo. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Mirage Souvenir Package. Openings do not guarantee this particular finish, while buying a listed copy allows a direct selection.

3. Trade Up Contracts

An eligible Trade Up Contract uses 10 Consumer Grade skins from The 2021 Mirage Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. CaliCamo is a possible result, but the output is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins. This is a chance-based route rather than a direct purchase of the desired finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Regular and Souvenir copies can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the listed exterior and version, then check any available float information rather than assuming every copy within an exterior is identical.

5. Trade with Other Players

FAMAS | CaliCamo can also be obtained by trading with other players for an existing copy. Confirm the exact item, regular or Souvenir version, exterior, and float before agreeing on an exchange, especially when comparing several offers.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular and Souvenir listings offer several ways to buy, sell, or trade this finish, but current listing depth and sales activity remain uncertain. Professional ownership provides visibility, not proof of sustained demand for a particular exterior or float value. Compare like-for-like variants before treating an asking price as a useful benchmark.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low-cost entry point for a distinctive camouflage finish

• Souvenir availability across Mirage packages

• Recorded ownership by professional players

• Valve-created finish from The 2021 Mirage Collection

Treat the medium investment rating cautiously: low cost, Souvenir availability, and professional ownership are reasons to consider the skin, not evidence of investment strength. Sustained demand, future price growth, and current supply depth remain unestablished, so buying for use is better supported than buying for investment.
