FAMAS | Half Sleeve

FAMAS | Half Sleeve is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around a camouflage jacket-inspired finish. Muted gray, beige, and olive panels combine with fabric-like seams and dark metal parts. The subdued design suits camouflage-themed loadouts and players who prefer detailed surfaces without bright colors. It comes in every exterior, with standard and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

FAMAS | Half Sleeve gives the Counter-Terrorist rifle a clothing-inspired appearance through its Gunsmith finish. The FAMAS fills a budget-conscious role between more expensive rifles and SMGs, while this skin changes its visual presentation. Camouflage covers the receiver and upper carry handle, creating the impression of fabric wrapped around the weapon. Seams, folded edges, and small fasteners make the jacket concept more specific than a simple camouflage paint job. Dark sections on the stock, grip, and metal components keep the overall palette restrained. The finish suits players building an olive, beige, or gray loadout who still want visible design details. Professional owners include olofmeister, TaZ, and byali, providing documented examples of the skin appearing in player inventories. Buyers can compare exterior condition, exact float value, and Souvenir status when choosing a copy for play or collecting.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Half Sleeve was released on October 2, 2024, as part of the Armory update. It belongs to The Sport & Field Collection. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its design concept turns the rifle's painted shell into the visual equivalent of a camouflage jacket, carrying the clothing theme across several weapon parts. The flavor text reinforces that concept by pairing the half-sleeve idea with a reference to a loaded weapon. Today, buyers can obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade, separately from its original release context. When using either route, the collection identity stays the same, while the individual copy's exterior, float, and Souvenir status are the details to verify.

Finish Style

Half Sleeve uses a Gunsmith finish with custom-painted areas designed to resemble a jacket wrapped around the rifle. Muted gray, beige, and olive camouflage covers the receiver and the top of the carry handle. The pattern avoids bright accents, giving the painted sections a subdued, practical-looking character. Seam lines break up the covering and help distinguish the fabric-like treatment from an ordinary flat camouflage pattern. Folded edges add to that effect, while small round fasteners appear near the stock. A mostly plain dark gray panel occupies the rear stock, bordered by the camouflage covering. The barrel, magazine, and inner carry handle remain dark, with slight metallic highlights visible on those components. The pistol grip is also mostly dark gray, though a camouflage strip runs around its lower edge. Together, these placements balance the jacket detailing with exposed-looking dark sections, keeping the design cohesive without covering every surface in camouflage.

Float Value

The float value of FAMAS | Half Sleeve ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, covering the finish's full condition range. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these condition categories is excluded. Standard and Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the exterior and float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Half Sleeve has an Industrial Grade rarity classification within The Sport & Field Collection. Its stated acquisition chance from that collection is 13.34%, which describes collection selection rather than marketplace availability. Ownership by olofmeister, TaZ, and byali adds professional visibility, but does not establish broader demand or guarantee that a listed copy will sell quickly.

Why it’s Popular:

• Camouflage jacket styling with visible seams and folded edges

• Muted colors suit restrained Counter-Terrorist loadouts

• Every exterior offers a different condition choice

• Souvenir availability adds a collecting option

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for FAMAS | Half Sleeve is $0.01 to $1.40. These bounds cover the whole item, rather than assigning a fixed price to any named exterior or version. Compare exterior labels alongside exact float values, since the condition category alone does not identify a particular copy. Souvenir status is another listing detail to check, without assuming that every Souvenir copy carries the same premium. Before choosing a listing, weigh its asking price against the condition and version that fit the intended loadout or collection.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

FAMAS | Half Sleeve can be purchased directly on the Steam Community Market by choosing an existing listing. Check the exterior and whether the listing is standard or Souvenir before buying. Inspect the individual item when possible, since a broad market label is not a substitute for checking its exact float and appearance.

3. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be obtained through a player-to-player trade with someone who owns a copy. Confirm that the offered item has the intended exterior, float value, and standard or Souvenir status. This route requires a matching trade offer rather than a collection selection, so the specific item being exchanged matters.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Current supply trends and sales speed are uncertain, so professional ownership should not be mistaken for proven market demand. When buying, selling, or trading, compare the exterior, exact float value, and standard or Souvenir version rather than judging by the finish name alone. Its inexpensive market position supports a practical loadout purchase, but does not establish a reliable short-term flip or a future scarcity premium.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible entry point for camouflage-themed loadouts

• Souvenir availability adds a collecting angle

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive jacket details within a restrained palette

The investment outlook is medium-to-poor, with an accessible price position but limited evidence supporting future value growth. Its Industrial Grade classification and documented professional ownership provide context, rather than proof of scarcity or sustained demand. The main risk is uncertain resale demand and supply, making it easier to justify as a play skin than an appreciation-focused purchase.
