FAMAS | Neural Net

FAMAS | Neural Net is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, featuring gold and mustard-yellow surfaces crossed by dark geometric lines. Its fractured pattern suits players who prefer an industrial, angular look over a plain finish. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

FAMAS | Neural Net gives the Counter-Terrorist rifle a metallic, patterned appearance through its Anodized Multicolored finish. The weapon fills a budget role between more expensive rifles and SMGs, making this a cosmetic option for a practical loadout choice. Mustard yellow and gold dominate the body, while muted gray and olive patches break up the warm colors. An irregular network of dark lines makes the decorated surfaces look fragmented rather than uniformly painted. The mostly black grip and grooved gray magazine provide quieter areas beside the busy bodywork. This combination suits players who want visible color without a finish built entirely around bright accents. Buyers can choose a standard copy or look for an available StatTrak or Souvenir version. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float value and version help distinguish otherwise similar-looking copies.

History and Origin

FAMAS | Neural Net arrived in CS:GO on May 26, 2015, with the Operation Bloodhound update. Its original case source was the Falchion Case. Steam Workshop community designer SLIMEface created the finish. The skin belongs to The Falchion Collection, which also determines its collection-specific trade-up route. Its flavor text references A Family Affair Part 2, adding a narrative reference alongside the abstract artwork. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Falchion Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so the historical case route remains available despite that retirement. Today, players can also acquire an existing copy through a marketplace or a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

Neural Net uses the Anodized Multicolored finish style, combining a metallic foundation with a translucent hydrographic pattern. Mustard yellow and gold cover much of the receiver, carry handle and stock. Muted gray and olive patches interrupt those surfaces, giving the palette a subdued industrial character. Dark angular lines divide the colored areas into irregular polygons rather than a repeating grid. Scattered black marks add further detail within the fractured design. The barrel alternates between yellow and dark sections, extending the color contrast beyond the main body. The upper rear section and pistol grip are mostly black, creating plainer areas around the patterned surfaces. A metallic gray magazine, with long vertical grooves and bright edge highlights, contrasts with the busy hydrographic artwork.

Float Value

FAMAS | Neural Net has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of those grades excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, and version choice is separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

FAMAS | Neural Net is a Restricted rifle skin from The Falchion Collection. Its chance of appearing from a Falchion Case opening is 3.2%, so opening a case does not ensure this specific result. Documented professional owners include dupreeh, TaZ and byali, providing evidence of ownership without establishing broader demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Gold and mustard colors give the rifle a distinct identity

• Angular geometry suits industrial-themed loadouts

• Plain grip and magazine balance the patterned body

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options

Price Range

The live FAMAS | Neural Net price range is $0.61 to $30.30. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, rather than a particular exterior or version. Its price level makes it an accessible rifle cosmetic, although individual listings differ. Compare exterior and exact float value, then separate standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings when assessing the asking price. Matching those details makes a CS2 skin price comparison more useful than choosing solely by the cheapest visible listing.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Falchion Case

Open a Falchion Case for a chance to receive this skin, with an item-specific probability of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain available to buy and open. This route offers a random result rather than a direct choice of Neural Net.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Falchion Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Neural Net is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing FAMAS | Neural Net directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case or contract result. Check the listing's exterior and version against the copy being sought.

5. Trade with Other Players

An existing copy can also be obtained through a trade with another player. Before accepting, confirm the item's exterior, float value and whether it is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Falchion Cases receive no new supply through drops, although existing cases and trade-ups can still produce additional Neural Net copies. Professional ownership supports the skin's visibility, but it does not establish sustained demand or predictable resale speed. Anyone looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching exteriors and versions rather than assume every copy has the same market position.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source case limits fresh case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive gold-and-gray geometric artwork

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium: retired case supply, professional ownership and an accessible price level provide some support for holding the skin. The main risk is uncertain future demand, while existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add copies to circulation.
