Bayonet

The ★ Bayonet is a CS2 knife with a silver-gray blade and muted olive-green handle. Its recessed blade groove, bright cutting edge and ribbed grip give it a restrained military appearance. The plain design suits players who prefer metal and texture over decorative artwork. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version.

Description

The ★ Bayonet is a CS2 knife whose appearance emphasizes its blade shape and textured handle. Silver-gray metal covers the blade, contrasting with the muted olive grip. A long recessed groove creates a defined line along the blade face. The brighter cutting edge and small dark opening near the tip add subtle contrasts. Raised ribs distinguish the handle from the metal crossguard and end cap. With no visible artwork or lettering, the design suits understated loadouts rather than graphic-heavy themes. Buyers can choose between Standard and StatTrak™ versions according to their preferred item type. When comparing listings, check the exact knife name, version, visible details and current asking price.

History and Origin

The ★ Bayonet has a case-based acquisition history, although its individual release date and designer are not confirmed. The CS:GO Weapon Case, Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2 and CS:GO Weapon Case 3 were first sold on September 20, 2013. The Winter Offensive Weapon Case was first sold on December 18, 2013. The Operation Phoenix Weapon Case was first sold on February 19, 2014. The eSports 2013 Case, eSports 2013 Winter Case and eSports 2014 Summer Case were first sold on July 9, 2014. The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case was first sold on November 5, 2014, and the Revolver Case on November 30, 2015. These dates describe case sales, not the knife's release, and a separate collection is not confirmed. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and all these cases no longer drop. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, while direct purchases and player trades provide other acquisition routes.

Finish Style

The blade has a silver-gray surface with a brighter edge running toward the pointed tip. Its long recessed groove adds depth without introducing a separate color motif. A small, dark oval opening near the tip breaks up the metal face. The straight crossguard continues the gray-metal appearance at the base of the blade. A matching metal end cap finishes the opposite end of the handle. Between these components, the muted olive-green grip shows repeated raised ribs and fine surface texture. No visible lettering or artwork competes with the blade geometry and handle details. The underlying bayonet design has remained broadly consistent since World War II, giving the plain appearance a practical military character.

Float Value

An exact float value range is not confirmed for ★ Bayonet. Named exterior options are also not confirmed, so a wear-tier selection should not be assumed. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available, with no Souvenir version; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Bayonet carries the Covert rarity grade. It can be obtained from its eligible weapon cases, but an item-specific opening probability is not confirmed. Its source cases no longer drop, although existing cases can still be opened to obtain possible knife outcomes.

Why it’s Popular:

• Plain silver-gray blade without visible artwork

• Muted olive handle suits understated loadouts

• Raised grip ribs add distinctive texture

• Standard and StatTrak™ version choices

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet price range is — to —. These bounds cover the whole item, not a particular version or exterior. Compare Standard and StatTrak™ listings individually rather than assigning either version to a range endpoint. Without a confirmed float range or named exterior selection, avoid pricing comparisons based on an assumed wear hierarchy. To compare CS2 skin prices, match the item and version, inspect the images, and check the complete listing before buying.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open an eligible case, such as the CS:GO Weapon Case, Operation Bravo Case or Revolver Case, for a possible ★ Bayonet outcome. Its source cases no longer drop, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. A case opening does not let the buyer select this knife directly.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The ★ Bayonet can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of pursuing a case outcome. Compare Standard and StatTrak™ listings and inspect the item details before choosing a copy.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain the knife through an agreed item exchange. Verify that the offer contains ★ Bayonet and the intended Standard or StatTrak™ version. Compare its visible appearance and current listing prices before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases receive no new drops, but opening existing stock can still add knives to circulation. Compare Standard and StatTrak™ versions separately when preparing to buy, sell or trade. The limited replenishment of cases supports a holding argument, but demand strength and price trends remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Distinctive silver blade and olive handle

• Standard and StatTrak™ options broaden version choice

The ★ Bayonet receives a medium investment rating, balancing retired source cases against uncertain demand and price direction. Its plain design and supported versions give buyers clear options, but existing case openings can still increase knife supply. This is an editorial opinion, not a promise of returns.
