Bayonet | Bright Water

The ★ Bayonet | Bright Water is a CS2 knife skin that pairs the Bayonet silhouette with blue camouflage. Pale aqua, medium blue, dark blue, and muted gray patches cover the blade, while the ribbed handle stays comparatively plain. Its cool palette suits blue-themed loadouts and players who prefer camouflage to a single-color blade. Buyers can choose exteriors from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with standard and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

The ★ Bayonet | Bright Water brings a blue hydrographic finish to the Bayonet knife in CS2. Its visual focus is the patterned blade, where several cool shades create a mottled surface rather than a uniform block of color. A medium-blue handle and dark gray fittings keep the rest of the knife within the same restrained palette. The dark oval opening near the blade tip remains visible within the camouflage, adding another clear detail to the design. This combination suits players building a blue loadout while still wanting variation across the weapon. Professional player piriajr owns the skin, giving it a specific connection to professional play without establishing broader market demand. Standard and StatTrak versions are separate options to compare, alongside the exterior and exact float of each listing. Before buying, listing images help buyers judge whether an individual copy matches their preferred appearance rather than choosing from its condition label alone.

History and Origin

The ★ Bayonet | Bright Water was released in CS:GO on June 15, 2016. Its launch was part of the Gamma Case Skins update and included availability through the Gamma Case. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer, making it a Valve-authored addition to the game's knife selection. The Gamma 2 Case is another acquisition source today, separate from the case associated with the original release. As of October 9, 2026, neither source case drops following the rare drop pool's retirement on December 17, 2025. Existing Gamma Case and Gamma 2 Case inventories can still be bought on the market and opened, despite that retirement. Finished copies remain obtainable through the Steam Community Market and player-to-player trades, allowing buyers to select an existing knife instead of opening a case.

Finish Style

Bright Water uses the Hydrographic finish style to give the Bayonet a blue camouflage surface. The blade combines pale aqua, medium blue, dark blue, and muted gray, creating contrast within an entirely cool-toned palette. Irregular patches break up the colors, giving the blade a busy, mottled character rather than a repeating geometric appearance. The pattern covers most of the blade and surrounds a dark oval opening near the tip. The handle is mostly medium blue, providing a comparatively plain area beside the detailed blade. Raised grip ribs remain visible, with darker shading between them emphasizing the handle's texture. The crossguard and end cap are dark gray, separating these fittings visually from the blue grip and patterned blade. Together, these details make the camouflage the focal point while the simpler handle keeps the overall design coordinated.

Float Value

The ★ Bayonet | Bright Water has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, giving buyers the full listed selection of condition labels. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; these version choices are separate from the cosmetic condition indicated by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Bright Water is a Covert Bayonet skin, with rarity describing its item grade rather than the cosmetic condition of an individual copy. Its stated drop chance from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, and that figure should not be applied to the Gamma 2 Case. Existing cases can still be opened for a chance at the knife, while finished copies can be bought or traded directly.

Why it’s Popular:

• Cool blue camouflage suits coordinated blue loadouts

• Irregular blade patches create visible color variation

• A comparatively plain handle balances the detailed blade

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different buying options

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet | Bright Water price range is $128.02 to $327.80. Each listing should be checked for exterior, exact float, and whether it is a standard or StatTrak copy. Available variants occupy different price points, so a version label alone should not replace comparison of the actual asking prices. Listing images also help buyers judge the blue camouflage and overall cosmetic condition before choosing a copy. Use the full CS2 skin price range as an overview, not as a fixed price for any particular exterior or version.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case for a chance to obtain this knife. Neither case drops anymore, although existing cases can still be bought and opened. The stated Gamma Case chance is 0.0085%, so opening a case does not secure a Bright Water.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a finished Bright Water copy on the Steam Community Market without relying on a case outcome. Compare the exterior, exact float, and standard or StatTrak version before selecting a listing. Check available item details and images to make sure the chosen copy matches the intended purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain Bright Water through a player-to-player trade for an existing copy. Confirm the exterior, float, and version of the knife being offered rather than judging the exchange by its name alone. Compare its current asking-price context with the items offered before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases mean no new Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case drops, though unopened inventory can still produce more skins. Professional ownership is documented, but it does not establish market-wide demand, price momentum, or ease of resale. Before buying to sell or trade later, compare the exact exterior, float, version, and asking price rather than treating all copies as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases constrain future case supply

• Blue camouflage gives the knife a distinctive visual identity

• Standard and StatTrak options serve different buying preferences

• Professional ownership includes piriajr

The editorial investment rating is medium, reflecting retired source cases and documented professional ownership without assuming strong resale demand. The main risk is uncertain buyer demand while existing cases can still add copies to circulation, so future price gains should not be assumed.
