Short Description

★ Bayonet | Tiger Tooth is a CS2 knife skin with an orange-gold blade crossed by dark brown tiger stripes. Its glossy blade and subdued olive-gray handle suit players who prefer bright metal with restrained fittings. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies are available in standard and StatTrak™ versions, with no Souvenir option.

Description

★ Bayonet | Tiger Tooth gives the Bayonet a warm metallic finish with a distinctly animal-inspired pattern. The Tiger Tooth design concentrates its decoration on the blade rather than spreading it across every component. Gray fittings frame the orange-gold surface without competing with its dark stripes. The textured olive-gray grip provides a subdued counterpart to the reflective blade. This combination suits loadouts where the knife is intended to supply a strong color accent. Buyers can choose between standard copies and versions with StatTrak. Its exterior selection is restricted to Factory New and Minimal Wear, keeping the available condition categories straightforward. Comparing the float, version and pictured blade helps buyers choose a copy that matches their preferences.

History and Origin

The finish was released on January 8, 2015, alongside the Chroma Case. Its introduction was part of the Chroma Case Skins update. Valve created the design, rather than a community designer. Today, its case sources include the Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case and Chroma 3 Case. As of October 9, 2026, none of these cases receives new drops. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending that source of fresh cases. Existing cases remain available for market purchases and can still be opened for their contents. Buying or trading for an existing knife is a separate route from opening one of those cases.

Finish Style

Tiger Tooth uses an orange anodized surface decorated with etched tiger-like striping. The blade appears orange-gold, with dark brown stripes running across its length. These marks taper irregularly, avoiding the appearance of evenly spaced bands. Wider patches gather around the central groove, adding dark areas within the blade's patterned surface. Bright reflections emphasize the glossy metal, while the oval opening near the tip appears dark. The crossguard and pommel are gray, leaving the fittings visually distinct from the warm blade. Muted olive-gray coloring, textured sections and raised ribs define the handle. The Anodized Multicolored finish creates a clear contrast between the decorated blade and the plain, subdued grip.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Bayonet | Tiger Tooth ranges from 0.00 to 0.08. It comes in Factory New and Minimal Wear, never Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; version choice is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Bayonet | Tiger Tooth has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated drop chance from the Chroma Case is 0.0085%, which should not be treated as verified odds for its other cases. Professional owners include DANK1NG, Ethan and Hobbit, providing documented ownership without establishing future market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Orange-gold blade with contrasting dark tiger stripes

• Glossy metal paired with a subdued olive-gray handle

• Factory New and Minimal Wear exterior options

• Standard and StatTrak versions available

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet | Tiger Tooth price range is $242.67 to $650.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Compare standard and StatTrak listings within Factory New and Minimal Wear rather than treating every copy as interchangeable. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check the individual float and item image alongside the asking price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case or Chroma 3 Case for a chance at this knife. None still drops, but existing cases can be bought on the market and opened. The stated Chroma Case chance is 0.0085%, so opening is not a dependable way to obtain this specific finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy on the Steam Community Market to select the knife directly rather than rely on an opening. Check its exterior and whether the listing is standard or StatTrak before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for an existing Bayonet | Tiger Tooth in an available exterior and version. Confirm the float, condition and StatTrak status against the agreed offer before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new source cases drop, but existing cases can still add copies of this knife through openings. Professional ownership demonstrates player interest, although it does not establish sales volume or a price trend. When buying, selling or trading, compare exterior, float and StatTrak status rather than grouping all copies together.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Documented ownership by DANK1NG, Ethan and Hobbit

• Distinctive orange-gold blade and dark tiger stripes

• Standard and StatTrak options offer version choice

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired source cases, professional ownership and a distinctive finish. The main risk is continued knife supply from existing case openings, alongside uncertain future demand and price direction.
