Bayonet | Doppler

★ Bayonet | Doppler is a CS2 knife skin pairing the Bayonet's profile with a glossy, marbled blade. The pictured finish mixes near-black and deep navy with cloudy blue-violet color and silver-blue highlights. Its blade-focused design suits players who prefer polished color over lettering or symbols. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies are available, including StatTrak™ versions and several named Doppler phases.

Description

★ Bayonet | Doppler applies an Anodized Multicolored finish to the Bayonet, keeping the handle and fittings comparatively plain. The patterned blade provides the main visual interest rather than extending the color treatment across the entire knife. An oval opening near the tip and a long recessed groove remain visible within that colored surface. This combination suits players looking for a metallic knife with a restrained handle and a more expressive blade. Available phases are Black Pearl, Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, Phase 4, Ruby and Sapphire. Selecting a phase is a useful starting point before narrowing the search by exterior or float value. Regular and StatTrak versions give buyers another distinction to consider when choosing a copy for their inventory. Individual listings should be checked for the phase, exterior, float and version rather than judged by the Doppler name alone.

History and Origin

★ Bayonet | Doppler was released on January 8, 2015, with the Chroma Case. Its introduction accompanied the Chroma Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Chroma 2 Case and Chroma 3 Case are also acquisition sources for this knife. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case and Chroma 3 Case no longer drop. Existing cases can still be purchased and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Buyers can also obtain an existing knife through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade without opening a case.

Finish Style

The Doppler finish uses an Anodized Multicolored treatment built around metallic color and marbling. Black and silver metallic paint form the base, with a candy-style coating adding a glossy appearance. On the pictured blade, near-black and deep navy cover much of the surface. Cloudy blue-violet marbling breaks up that dark base without forming lettering or recognizable symbols. Bright silver-blue highlights follow the cutting edge and the long recessed groove. An oval opening near the tip interrupts the blade's otherwise continuous patterned surface. The crossguard and pommel stay muted gray, providing a quieter frame around the colored metal. The olive-gray handle has raised bands and a fine texture rather than the blade's marbled treatment. Keeping the pattern confined to the blade gives the knife a clear contrast between glossy color and comparatively plain fittings.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Bayonet | Doppler ranges from 0.00 to 0.08. Its available exteriors are Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. Regular and StatTrak versions exist, but there is no Souvenir version; these version choices are separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Bayonet | Doppler has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance from the Chroma Case is 0.0085%, making a specific drop an unlikely outcome of opening that case. Professional players shox, Stewie2K and rallen are known owners, providing a concrete ownership reference without establishing future demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Glossy marbling gives the blade a distinctive metallic appearance

• Named Doppler phases offer different collecting choices

• Plain fittings keep attention on the colored blade

• Factory New, Minimal Wear and StatTrak options support different preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet | Doppler price range is $333.52 to $746.54. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular phase, exterior or version. Phase, float value, exterior and StatTrak status are important details when comparing individual CS2 skin listings. Assess regular and StatTrak copies separately rather than assuming the counter creates a fixed price premium. For a targeted purchase, compare matching phases and versions before deciding whether a listing fits the intended budget and appearance.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Chroma Case, Chroma 2 Case or Chroma 3 Case for a chance to obtain this knife. These cases no longer drop, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. Case opening does not guarantee the Doppler finish or the desired phase.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing ★ Bayonet | Doppler through the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case result. Compare the phase, exterior, float and StatTrak status of candidate listings to identify the version being offered.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for a copy that matches the desired phase and condition. Compare the offered knife's exterior, float and StatTrak status before agreeing on the exchange. An item sharing the Doppler name is not necessarily the same variant as the intended purchase.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement of the source cases limits new case supply, while opening existing cases can still introduce more copies of this knife. Available listings span multiple phases, exteriors and regular or StatTrak versions, so comparisons should stay specific to the variant being bought or sold. Professional ownership offers some visibility, but it does not establish transaction speed, sustained demand or future price growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Known ownership by shox, Stewie2K and rallen

• Distinct named phases offer collecting variety

• Factory New and StatTrak options broaden buyer choice

The investment outlook is medium-to-good, supported by retired source cases, professional ownership and a substantial purchase price level. Those factors give collectors reasons to consider holding a chosen variant, but they do not establish a reliable short-term flip. The main risk is uncertain future demand for a particular phase, while existing cases can still produce additional knives.
