Shadow Daggers

★ Shadow Daggers are CS2 knives with paired silver-gray blades and dark metallic handles. Bright blade edges, open handle shapes and small pale emblems define their otherwise unpatterned appearance. The restrained finish suits players who prefer metallic detail over colorful artwork. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version.

Description

★ Shadow Daggers bring a paired push-dagger design to the CS2 knife slot, with the shape itself providing much of their visual identity. Their silver-gray blades contrast with broad dark sections across the blade faces. Thin bright edges outline the points, making the blade contours stand out against the darker metal. The handles feature large central cutouts and smaller rectangular openings, giving them a distinctive open construction. Small pale emblems near the blade bases add detail without turning the finish into a patterned design. This look suits loadouts built around gray metal, dark equipment or understated colors. Buyers can choose between standard and StatTrak versions rather than treating every listing as the same item. When comparing copies, the displayed version and individual listing details matter more than assumptions based on the item name alone.

History and Origin

The Shadow Case, the case associated with ★ Shadow Daggers, first went on sale on September 15, 2015. No named designer is confirmed for the item. The weapon's push-dagger concept centers on a direct punching motion, which helps explain its compact blade-and-handle form. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Shadow Case no longer drops, so new case drops do not replenish its supply. Existing Shadow Cases can still be bought on the market and opened, preserving the case-opening route despite that retirement. Today, buyers can also acquire existing daggers through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

The visible finish uses silver-gray metal rather than colorful artwork or an all-over decorative pattern. Broad dark gray areas cover much of each blade face, creating contrast within the otherwise restrained palette. Thin bright silver edges follow the pointed outlines and give the blades a clearly defined border. The handles are darker metallic gray, visually separating the grip sections from the brighter blades. Large central cutouts are prominent features of the handle design, with smaller rectangular openings positioned at each end. A small pale emblem appears near the base of each blade, providing a localized accent. Light mottling across the metallic surfaces adds texture without forming a repeating motif. The overall character is clean and mechanical, with the blade outlines and handle openings doing more visual work than surface decoration.

Float Value

An exact float range is not confirmed for ★ Shadow Daggers. No exterior lineup is confirmed either, so buyers should inspect individual listing details rather than assume specific wear tiers are available. Standard and StatTrak versions are supported; those version choices should be kept separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Shadow Daggers have the Covert rarity grade. They are obtainable from the Shadow Case, but an exact item drop probability is not confirmed. Their rarity does not prevent direct purchases or player trades, which let buyers select an existing copy rather than rely on the outcome of a case opening.

Why it’s Popular:

• Paired push-dagger shape gives the knife slot a distinctive silhouette

• Silver-gray blades suit restrained metallic loadouts

• Open handles and pale emblems add detail without busy artwork

• Standard and StatTrak options support different buying preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Shadow Daggers CS2 skin price range is — to —. These bounds cover the whole item and are not fixed quotes for a named version or exterior. Compare standard and StatTrak listings separately, checking which version each offer actually includes. If condition or float information appears in a listing, verify it directly rather than applying an assumed wear range. When choosing where to buy, sell or trade, compare the exact item details alongside the displayed price.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

★ Shadow Daggers can be obtained by opening the Shadow Case, but the item is not assured from an opening. The case no longer drops, although existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buyers can purchase ★ Shadow Daggers directly through the Steam Community Market instead of opening a case. Check whether the listing is standard or StatTrak and review its individual details before choosing a copy.

4. Trade with Other Players

★ Shadow Daggers can also be acquired by trading with other players. Confirm the offered item and its version before accepting, especially when comparing a standard copy with a StatTrak offer.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits new Shadow Case supply, but existing cases can still produce daggers through openings. A distinctive appearance alone does not establish resale demand or predictable turnover. Traders should compare standard and StatTrak offers individually and avoid treating case retirement as evidence of future price growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Shadow Case supply is no longer replenished by drops

• Distinctive paired push-dagger silhouette

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer separate ownership choices

• Restrained metallic design suits coordinated loadouts

The editorial investment rating is medium: retired case drops support the supply argument, but future demand and trading liquidity remain uncertain. Existing cases can still be opened, and the main risk is relying on reduced case supply without evidence of stronger resale demand.
