Huntsman Knife

★ Huntsman Knife is a Covert CS2 knife with a gray metal blade, bright silver cutting edge and nearly black handle. Hooked spine notches, fine surface streaks and small blade markings give its otherwise plain appearance distinct details. The restrained look suits players who prefer neutral colors and tactical styling. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version.

Description

★ Huntsman Knife brings an understated metal finish to a tactical knife design in CS2. Its visual identity comes from contrasting surfaces and blade geometry rather than an elaborate painted theme. The hooked spine notches and Tanto point give its silhouette a purposeful, angular character. A dark, grooved handle provides a clear contrast with the silver cutting edge and gray blade surface. This look suits players who prefer neutral equipment, visible metal texture and limited decoration. Standard and StatTrak versions give buyers different item options while retaining the same underlying knife design. There is no Souvenir version, so that label should not be included when searching for this item. Buyers can compare the version, inspect the blade and handle in listing images, and check the current asking price before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

The Huntsman Weapon Case was first sold on June 11, 2014. The designer of ★ Huntsman Knife is unknown. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Huntsman Weapon Case no longer drops, separating its historical distribution from its current availability. Existing cases can still be bought on the market, so retirement does not make the container unavailable to buyers. Those cases remain openable for a chance to obtain the knife. Current owners can also sell the knife itself on the Steam Community Market, offering a direct alternative to opening a case. Player-to-player trades provide another route to an existing copy without relying on a case-opening result.

Finish Style

Gray metal dominates the blade, with a broad silver cutting edge providing the strongest contrast. Fine surface streaks add texture without turning the appearance into a busy decorative pattern. The upper blade section is darker, visually separating the spine from the bright edge below. A long recessed line runs through this upper section, while hooked notches shape the spine. Near the handle, a small dark emblem and green mark sit beside a round metal fastener. The handle is nearly black, keeping the grip visually distinct from the blade. Subtle lengthwise ridges and deep finger grooves give that grip its structured appearance. Silver fasteners punctuate the dark handle and echo the brighter metal along the cutting edge. Together, these details create a mostly plain finish defined by contrasting metal surfaces, practical geometry and restrained markings.

Float Value

A verified float value range is not available for ★ Huntsman Knife, so no numerical endpoints should be assumed. Named exterior availability is also unconfirmed; buyers should check individual item details rather than assume a particular wear tier exists. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, and these version choices are separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Huntsman Knife has the Covert rarity grade, which should be considered separately from its Standard or StatTrak version. It can be obtained by opening the Huntsman Weapon Case, but an exact probability for this knife is not confirmed. The case no longer drops, although existing cases can still be bought and opened.

Why it’s Popular:

• Plain metal styling suits neutral loadouts

• Bright cutting edge contrasts with the dark handle

• Tanto point and hooked notches create a distinctive silhouette

• Standard and StatTrak options offer different buying choices

Price Range

The live ★ Huntsman Knife CS2 skin price range is — to —. These bounds cover the whole item and should not be assigned to either its Standard or StatTrak version. Where exterior or float information appears, verify it against the exact item rather than assuming a named wear tier. For anyone looking to buy, sell or trade, matching the version and checking individual listings gives a more useful comparison than the overall range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Huntsman Weapon Case

Open an existing Huntsman Weapon Case for a chance to obtain ★ Huntsman Knife, rather than a guaranteed result. The case no longer drops, but market-bought cases remain usable, and an exact probability for this knife is not confirmed.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed ★ Huntsman Knife on the Steam Community Market to select a particular item instead of relying on a case opening. Check whether the listing is Standard or StatTrak, inspect its item details, and compare the asking price before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns ★ Huntsman Knife to acquire an existing copy without opening its case. Confirm the exact item and whether it is Standard or StatTrak before accepting, then compare the proposed exchange with current listings.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case has no new drop supply, although existing cases can still produce this knife when opened. Standard and StatTrak listings offer different buying choices, but demand, listing depth and price history are not established. Traders should compare matching versions and current asking prices rather than assume that restricted case supply alone will drive appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source with no new drops

• Distinctive Tanto point and restrained metal appearance

• Standard and StatTrak versions provide multiple buying options

★ Huntsman Knife receives a medium investment rating, balancing its retired case source against uncertainty about demand and market activity. Its appearance and version choices give buyers clear comparison points, but they do not establish future price growth. The main risk is treating the lack of new case drops as proof that buyers will pay more.
