Survival Knife

The ★ Survival Knife is a Covert CS2 knife with a silver-gray blade and a dark composite handle. Its hooked tip, serrated sections, and slotted blade give it a practical, tool-like appearance without colored artwork. The restrained look suits players who prefer visible metal and structural detail over decorative patterns. Standard and StatTrak™ options are available.

Description

The ★ Survival Knife is a CS2 melee item whose visual identity comes from its tactical construction rather than a painted design. Its silver-gray blade contrasts with a charcoal handle, keeping the overall palette neutral and understated. A long slot and hooked notch give the blade a distinctive silhouette that remains the focus of the design. The serrated section adds another utility-inspired detail, complementing the smoother cutting edge without introducing decorative artwork. Its composite grip is bolted to the blade, making the attachment hardware part of the visible construction. This appearance suits loadouts built around subdued colors, exposed metal, and practical-looking equipment rather than bright graphics. Buyers can choose between Standard and StatTrak versions, depending on whether they want the additional tracking feature. When comparing listings, the exact version and item details matter more than assuming an exterior grade from the name alone.

History and Origin

The case history of the ★ Survival Knife includes the Shattered Web Case, first sold on June 12, 2019. The Fracture Case, another acquisition route, was first sold on July 13, 2020. The Fever Case was first sold on February 4, 2025, and also contains this knife. These dates describe the cases' first sales, not a verified introduction date for the knife itself. No confirmed designer is identified for this item. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for the Shattered Web Case and Fracture Case. Existing copies of those cases can still be bought on the market and opened, despite their retired drop status. As of October 9, 2026, the Fever Case is available through the Armory pass rather than weekly drops. Today, buyers can also obtain the knife directly through marketplace listings or player-to-player trades instead of opening a case.

Finish Style

Silver-gray metal dominates the blade, with a brighter cutting edge contrasting against darker gray areas along its upper side. Subtle mottling creates tonal variation across the metal without forming a colored illustration or printed motif. A long, narrow slot runs through the center, creating a clear structural break in the blade's surface. Near the tip, the hooked notch gives the profile its practical, tool-like character. Short serrations and ridged sections near the base add texture to the outline beside the smoother cutting edge. The curved charcoal handle uses recessed panels and raised borders, giving the grip a layered appearance without bright accents. Two visible circular fasteners emphasize the assembled construction of the handle and its attachment to the blade. With no visible text or colored artwork, the finish relies on metal tones, hardware, and the contrast between blade and grip.

Float Value

A verified numeric float range is unavailable for the ★ Survival Knife, so buyers should not assume specific minimum or maximum values. The Standard listing does not establish a named exterior tier, making individual item details the appropriate place to check condition. StatTrak versions are available; version availability should be considered separately from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Survival Knife carries the Covert rarity grade, which identifies its item rarity rather than its cosmetic condition or available version. Exact case-opening odds are not confirmed, so that grade should not be converted into a numeric probability. Supported acquisition routes include the Shattered Web Case, Fracture Case, Fever Case, marketplace purchases, and trades with other players.

Why it’s Popular:

• Silver-gray metal and charcoal grip suit understated loadouts

• Hooked blade and serrations create a distinctive tactical profile

• No colored artwork or text competes with the knife's shape

• StatTrak availability offers an alternative to the Standard option

Price Range

The live ★ Survival Knife price range is — to —. These bounds cover the whole item and should not be assigned to a particular version or assumed exterior. Compare Standard and StatTrak listings separately, checking the exact item offered rather than treating their prices as interchangeable. A named exterior or numeric float should not be inferred when the listing does not establish one.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

The ★ Survival Knife can be obtained by opening a Shattered Web Case, Fracture Case, or Fever Case. Shattered Web and Fracture cases no longer drop, but existing cases remain tradable and openable; the Fever Case comes through the Armory pass. An opening does not guarantee this knife, and no exact probability is confirmed for the outcome.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for the ★ Survival Knife without relying on a case-opening result. Check whether the listing is Standard or StatTrak, then review the item details before buying rather than assuming a particular exterior or float.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the ★ Survival Knife through player-to-player trades, using an agreed exchange instead of buying a case and opening it. Verify the exact knife and its Standard or StatTrak version in the trade offer, and inspect the item details before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Shattered Web and Fracture cases are no longer replenished by drops, while the Fever Case remains obtainable through the Armory pass. A reliable demand trend or price history is not established, so short-term profitability and resale speed should not be assumed. Practical comparisons should separate Standard and StatTrak versions and verify each listing's item details before a buy, sell, or trade decision.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Shattered Web and Fracture cases receive no new drops

• Distinctive hooked blade with understated metal styling

• StatTrak availability provides another ownership option

• Neutral palette suits restrained equipment themes

The ★ Survival Knife receives a medium investment rating, balancing retired case supply against continued access through the Fever Case. Its tactical appearance and StatTrak availability support ownership appeal, but neither establishes a future demand trend. The main risk is uncertain demand alongside continued case access, so returns or easy resale should not be assumed.
