About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition and is linked to float value. This Bayonet ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is an item's grade, which helps distinguish how uncommon a case reward is. This skin is Covert, with a 0.0039% chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case.

How much does ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest cost?

The live range is $108.48 to $1,390.78. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

Which case contains ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest?

The CS:GO Weapon Case contains this skin, alongside other compatible cases such as the Operation Bravo Case and Revolver Case. Its source cases no longer drop, but existing ones can still be bought and opened.

Does ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest have a StatTrak version?

Yes, ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest is available in StatTrak and standard versions. It does not have a Souvenir version.

Is ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest a good investment?

Its editorial investment rating is medium. Retired source cases support a supply-based holding argument, but existing cases can still produce copies and future resale demand is uncertain.

Short Description

★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest is a CS2 knife skin with woodland camouflage across its blade. Olive, brown and pale green patches contrast with a muted handle and green fittings. Its earthy palette suits players building military-inspired or camouflage-focused loadouts. It is available from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

The ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest gives the Bayonet a woodland-themed appearance through a Hydrographic finish. Camouflage covers the blade, while the handle and fittings use quieter colors that balance the detailed pattern. Olive green, brown and gray-green make the design a natural fit for earthy inventory themes. A dark oval opening near the tip interrupts the patterned surface and adds a distinct visual feature. The narrow metallic edge provides a contrasting outline against the mottled blade. This finish suits players who prefer subdued military styling over a bright color scheme. Buyers can choose between standard copies and versions equipped with a StatTrak counter. When comparing this CS2 knife, the exterior, exact float and counter option help distinguish listings that share the same finish name.

History and Origin

★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest debuted in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, with the CS:GO Weapon Case during the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Additional case sources include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case and CS:GO Weapon Case 2. It also appears in the eSports 2013 Winter Case, Winter Offensive Weapon Case and CS:GO Weapon Case 3. Other compatible sources are the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, eSports 2014 Summer Case, Operation Vanguard Weapon Case and Revolver Case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, none of these source cases receive new drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, while finished copies remain obtainable through marketplace purchases and player trades.

Finish Style

Boreal Forest uses a Hydrographic treatment to apply forest camouflage to the Bayonet. The blade combines olive green, pale yellow-green, brown and gray-green in an irregular arrangement. Uneven patches create a busy, mottled surface rather than a repeated geometric design. These patches surround a dark oval opening near the blade's tip. A thin strip of exposed metallic color remains visible along the cutting edge. The crossguard and pommel are green, tying the fittings into the woodland palette. Between them, the muted gray-olive handle has raised grip segments and a mostly plain appearance. The contrast between patterned steel and restrained fittings gives the knife detail without extending the camouflage across every part.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; these options are separate from the exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated drop chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, which should not be treated as a shared probability across every compatible case. Retired source cases can still be opened, so discontinued case drops do not make the knife unobtainable.

Why it’s Popular:

• Woodland camouflage suits earthy loadout themes

• Muted fittings balance the blade's detailed pattern

• A visible metallic edge frames the camouflage

• Standard and StatTrak options offer different ownership choices

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet | Boreal Forest price range is $108.48 to $1,390.78. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Exterior, float value and StatTrak status are useful filters when comparing its CS2 skin price across listings. Version differences do not justify assuming that a counter always carries a premium, so compare current offers directly. Before choosing a copy, check the exact float alongside its exterior label and compare listings with matching features.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a CS:GO Weapon Case or another compatible case listed in the history section for a chance at this knife. The specific chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, so opening it does not secure this finish. These source cases no longer drop, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for this finish instead of a random case result. Compare the exterior and StatTrak status, and check the individual float where available before buying.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading is another route to obtaining the Bayonet with this finish. Before accepting a trade, inspect the offered copy's exterior, float and StatTrak status to confirm it matches the intended version.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases mean further case-opening supply depends on existing inventories, although those openings can still introduce additional copies. Future demand and price direction remain uncertain despite the absence of new source-case drops. For a buy, sell or trade decision, compare matching exteriors, floats and StatTrak status rather than treating every Boreal Forest listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new drops replenish the compatible case supply

• Valve-created finish with an established release history

• Distinctive forest camouflage on the Bayonet blade

• Standard and StatTrak options broaden buyer choice

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired source cases and the choice of standard or StatTrak versions. That supply constraint offers a reason to consider holding, but it does not establish rising demand. Remaining cases can still produce copies, and uncertain resale demand is the main risk.
