Bayonet | Autotronic

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic is a CS2 knife skin with a red anodized blade, silver cutting edge and steel-mesh detailing. Its dark segmented grip contrasts with the brighter metal blade and fittings. The clean, geometric appearance suits players building red-and-silver loadouts. Regular and StatTrak™ versions are available across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred exteriors.

Description

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic is a CS2 Bayonet skin that combines a red blade face with exposed silver details. A long steel-mesh inset gives the blade a distinctive central feature without introducing a busy printed pattern. Gray metal fittings and a dark textured grip keep the handle visually separate from the blade. This restrained layout suits players who prefer industrial detailing and strong color contrast over elaborate illustrations. Professional players Gratisfaction and VINI have owned the skin, giving it a connection to professional inventories. Buyers can choose between regular and StatTrak versions rather than being limited to a single version. Its available exteriors also give players several condition categories to consider when choosing a copy for their loadout. Compare the exact float, exterior, version and item image before deciding which listing best matches the intended purchase.

History and Origin

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic was released on June 15, 2016. It arrived with the Gamma Case through the Gamma Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The underlying Bayonet design has remained largely unchanged since World War II, while Autotronic gives it a red-and-steel appearance. The Gamma 2 Case is another case from which this knife can be obtained today. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for its source cases. As of October 9, 2026, neither the Gamma Case nor the Gamma 2 Case receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening acquisition route.

Finish Style

The Autotronic uses the Gunsmith finish style, pairing a geometric layout with red anodized metal and visible steel details. Red covers the main blade face, creating the finish's strongest block of color. A broad silver cutting edge borders that face and continues into the silver tip. The long steel-mesh inset runs along the blade and forms part of the design's weight-reducing construction. A small dark oval opening near the tip adds another distinct feature within the blade layout. Faint dark markings sit on the red section close to the guard without dominating the color scheme. The straight guard and handle fittings are gray metal, linking the handle visually to the blade's silver elements. The dark gray grip combines raised segmented bands with textured panels, making surface detail more prominent there than decorative color.

Float Value

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic has a float range of 0.00 to 0.85. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; this version choice is separate from the knife's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic has Covert rarity, which is separate from its float value and exterior. Its drop chance from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, and that figure should not be applied to the Gamma 2 Case. Market purchases and player trades provide alternatives to case openings for buyers seeking this exact knife finish.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red anodized blade with a broad silver edge

• Steel-mesh detailing gives the finish an industrial character

• Dark segmented grip complements red-and-silver loadouts

• Regular and StatTrak versions across all available exteriors

Price Range

The live ★ Bayonet | Autotronic price range is $206.58 to $800.00. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a particular exterior or version. An exterior label provides a starting point, while the exact float identifies the condition of the individual copy. Compare regular and StatTrak listings separately, checking both their exterior and the asking price. Item images should also inform the comparison when choosing a CS2 skin to buy, sell or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case for a chance to obtain this knife, with a 0.0085% chance from the Gamma Case. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases remain available for market purchase and opening; obtaining this specific finish is not assured.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The ★ Bayonet | Autotronic can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of pursuing a case result. Check the exterior and whether the listing is regular or StatTrak, then review the individual item's details before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another route to obtain the knife in exchange for an agreed offer. Verify the exact skin, exterior, float and StatTrak status before accepting, rather than treating all Autotronic copies as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases receive no new drops, but existing cases can still introduce additional copies of the knife. Ownership by Gratisfaction and VINI is supported, although it does not establish sustained buying demand or a price trend. For practical trading comparisons, match the exterior and version first, then review the exact float and current asking prices.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases receive no new drops

• Distinctive Valve-designed red and steel-mesh finish

• Ownership by Gratisfaction and VINI

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer collecting options

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired source cases and professional ownership against uncertainty about sustained demand and price trends. The main risk is that existing cases can still add new copies, so restricted case replenishment alone does not establish future returns.
