Tec-9 | Rust Leaf

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf is a CS2 pistol skin with a spray-painted pattern of overlapping leaves. Muted orange and ochre contrast with dark gray-green patches across much of the weapon. Its matte, foliage-heavy appearance suits players who prefer earthy colors over bright accents. It comes in every exterior, with standard and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf brings a dense botanical finish to the Terrorist-side pistol in CS2. Its overlapping leaf shapes use orange and ochre tones, separated by dark patches and fine outlines. The pattern extends across the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, and long magazine rather than concentrating on a small decorative panel. Underneath the finish is a pistol built for close-range use, with a high magazine capacity. The earthy palette suits loadouts built around muted colors and natural motifs. A matte appearance keeps the busy surface from looking glossy, while dark fittings provide contrast around the painted areas. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies, depending on whether the finish alone or the version matters most. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float value, and item preview help distinguish copies beyond their shared skin name.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf was introduced on November 18, 2019, with the Operation Shattered Web update. It belongs to The St. Marc Collection, which identifies its collection origin separately from the update name. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. That collection connection also matters today because it determines the relevant inputs for a collection-specific Trade Up Contract. Current acquisition routes include buying a listed copy on the Steam Community Market or exchanging items with another player. A contract using Consumer Grade skins from the collection provides another route, though its Industrial Grade result is random. Souvenir versions are also available, giving collectors an additional version to distinguish when browsing current listings.

Finish Style

Rust Leaf uses a Spray-Paint finish built around overlapping foliage rather than a single central illustration. Muted orange and ochre cover much of the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, and extended magazine. Dark gray-green patches sit between the warmer colors, breaking the surface into a dense, mottled arrangement. Fine dark lines define leaf edges and veins, keeping individual shapes visible within the layered pattern. The perforated barrel shroud retains dark circular openings, and its underside appears mostly dark. The trigger, the interior of the trigger guard, and several small fittings remain dark gray or black. These darker mechanical details contrast with the leaf-covered surfaces without introducing another bright accent color. Overall, the finish looks matte and busy, with its botanical pattern reaching across nearly the entire pistol.

Float Value

The float value of Tec-9 | Rust Leaf ranges from 0.00 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, covering every exterior category. Standard and Souvenir copies are available; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf has the Industrial Grade rarity classification within The St. Marc Collection. It is a possible result from a collection-specific Trade Up Contract using Consumer Grade inputs, rather than a guaranteed outcome. Professional players allu, C4LLM3SU3, and yay have owned the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted orange and ochre suit earthy loadout themes

• Dense leaf detailing extends across nearly the whole pistol

• Matte surfaces contrast with dark mechanical fittings

• Every exterior is available, alongside Souvenir versions

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Rust Leaf price range is $8.44 to $43.10. These bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed to a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match standard listings with standard listings and Souvenir listings with Souvenir listings. Then check the exact float, since an exterior label does not describe every detail of a copy's condition. Review the item preview alongside the listing information before choosing which copy to buy, rather than relying on the range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Consumer Grade skins from The St. Marc Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Rust Leaf is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins. This route does not guarantee the specific finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Tec-9 | Rust Leaf on the Steam Community Market by selecting a listing that matches the desired exterior and version. Check whether the item is standard or Souvenir, then review its float and preview. The skin's overall price range should not replace a comparison of individual offers.

4. Trade with Other Players

Tec-9 | Rust Leaf can also be acquired through a trade with another player. Confirm the item's exterior, exact float, and standard or Souvenir status before accepting the exchange. Compare the specific items involved rather than treating every Rust Leaf copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The available supply and future demand for Rust Leaf are uncertain, so there is no firm basis for a confident short-term resale forecast. Its full exterior range and Souvenir option provide distinct categories to compare when planning to buy, sell, or trade. Match version and condition carefully, and avoid treating professional ownership as proof that a listing will attract a buyer.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Established identity within The St. Marc Collection

• Distinctive orange foliage finish

• Souvenir versions add collector options

• Ownership by allu, C4LLM3SU3, and yay

The editorial investment rating for Tec-9 | Rust Leaf is medium. Its collection identity, Souvenir availability, and professional ownership support collector interest, but they do not establish an upward price trend. The main risk is uncertain future demand, making a purchase for its appearance easier to justify than an expectation of profitable resale.
