Tec-9 | Ossified

Tec-9 | Ossified is a CS2 pistol skin for the Terrorist side, combining a lime-green upper assembly with mostly dark gray lower parts. Its abstract metallic finish suits players who prefer a bright accent rather than an entirely colorful weapon. It comes in Factory New and Minimal Wear, with regular and Souvenir versions available. There is no StatTrak™ version.

Description

Tec-9 | Ossified gives the Terrorist-side pistol a green-and-dark-gray appearance in CS2. Its Anodized Multicolored finish places an abstract hydrographic over a metallic base, concentrating the color on the upper assembly. Irregular olive and near-black shapes interrupt the lime green rather than forming a uniform coating. The dark grip, lower frame and magazine give the patterned section a contrasting backdrop. This balance suits green-themed loadouts and players who prefer restrained color placement. The long magazine and perforated barrel shroud remain distinctive parts of the weapon's silhouette. Souvenir availability gives buyers a separate version to consider alongside regular copies. Before choosing a listing, compare its exterior, exact float value and version instead of judging the item by its finish name alone.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Ossified was released on August 14, 2013, as part of The Aztec Collection. Its introduction accompanied the Arms Deal update, placing it within that release's collection content. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The collection identifies the skin's original grouping, while its present-day acquisition routes include purchases, player trades and trade-up contracts. Buyers can find copies on the Steam Community Market without relying on a randomized result. Player-to-player trading offers another route for obtaining an existing copy in exchange for other items. A trade-up using 10 Industrial Grade skins from The Aztec Collection can also produce this Mil-Spec Grade finish. That contract selects randomly among the collection's eligible Mil-Spec Grade results, so the historical collection connection does not make Ossified a guaranteed outcome.

Finish Style

The finish combines a transparent lime-green hydrographic with a metallic underlying coat. Most of the decorative treatment sits on the upper receiver and perforated barrel shroud. Dark olive and near-black patches break the green into irregular abstract shapes. Bright highlights along the upper edges reinforce the metallic character without introducing another dominant color. The muzzle, lower frame and trigger guard remain mostly dark gray, keeping those areas visually subdued. The grip carries a subtly textured inset panel, while the long magazine continues the darker lower-body appearance. Small stamped markings on the magazine housing add detail outside the main patterned area. As an Anodized Multicolored finish, Ossified's visual identity comes from the layered green upper treatment and its contrast with the plain lower assembly.

Float Value

Tec-9 | Ossified has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.08, limiting its available exteriors to Factory New and Minimal Wear. No other exteriors are available, so listings should be checked within the supported range. Regular and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak version; these version labels are separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Ossified is a Mil-Spec Grade skin from The Aztec Collection. Its collection chance is 3.23%, while trade-up contracts select randomly among the collection's eligible Mil-Spec Grade outcomes. Professional player Happy owns the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish broad demand or future market performance.

Why it’s Popular:

• Lime-green upper assembly contrasts clearly with the dark lower frame

• Abstract metallic styling suits green-themed loadouts

• Factory New and Minimal Wear options keep exterior selection focused

• Souvenir availability offers another version to collect

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Ossified price range is $8.31 to $60.00. These bounds cover the whole item and are not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare Factory New and Minimal Wear listings by their exact float value as well as the asking price. Check whether each copy is regular or Souvenir before using it as a reference to buy, sell or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Industrial Grade skins from The Aztec Collection produces a Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. Ossified is a possible result, but selection is random among the eligible collection finishes, so the contract cannot guarantee this pistol.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Tec-9 | Ossified can be purchased on the Steam Community Market by choosing an existing listing. Check the exterior and whether the item is regular or Souvenir, then compare the listing details with the copy being sought.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Tec-9 | Ossified through a player-to-player exchange for other items. Before accepting, verify the full item name, exterior, float value and version so the received copy matches the agreed trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The available price context makes Ossified an accessible purchase, but it does not establish a reliable price trend or sustained demand. Happy's ownership is a relevant connection, not proof that copies will sell quickly. Compare regular and Souvenir listings within the available exteriors, while treating future supply and market direction as uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive lime-green metallic appearance

• Established Aztec Collection identity

• Souvenir versions offer collecting options

• Documented ownership by Happy

Tec-9 | Ossified receives a medium investment rating, supported by its accessible price level, distinctive finish and Souvenir availability. Its collection identity and professional ownership add context, but neither proves sustained buying interest. The main risk is uncertain future demand, so purchases should not assume appreciation or a quick resale.
