About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes a skin's exterior condition, while its float value identifies its wear level. Re-Entry ranges from 0.00 to 0.43 and comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn, with no Battle-Scarred exterior.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is the skin's grade, separate from exterior condition. Re-Entry is Restricted and has a 3.2% chance of appearing when opening a Chroma 3 Case.

How much does Tec-9 | Re-Entry cost?

Tec-9 | Re-Entry ranges from $1.07 to $13.44. These bounds cover the whole skin, so compare individual listings by exterior, float, and version.

Which case contains Tec-9 | Re-Entry?

Tec-9 | Re-Entry comes from the Chroma 3 Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does Tec-9 | Re-Entry have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, Tec-9 | Re-Entry is available in StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Its supported exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn.

Is Tec-9 | Re-Entry a good investment?

Its editorial investment rating is medium. Retired case drops and professional ownership offer support, but existing cases and trade-ups leave future resale gains uncertain.

Short Description

Tec-9 | Re-Entry is a CS2 pistol skin for the Terrorist side, with colorful flame artwork along its upper assembly. Red-orange surfaces and blue-turquoise streaks contrast with a muted gray receiver, grip, and magazine. It suits players who prefer concentrated color rather than an all-over design. Standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions are available in its supported exteriors.

Description

Tec-9 | Re-Entry applies an Anodized Multicolored finish to the Terrorist-side pistol in CS2. The weapon combines close-quarters effectiveness with a high-capacity magazine, making it suited to mobile play. Its ventilated barrel shroud provides the main canvas for the flame design. Warm red-orange areas meet cooler blue and turquoise streaks, giving the upper assembly a mixed-color treatment. The look suits players who want a bright pistol while keeping the receiver and grip visually restrained. Collection-focused buyers can also consider it as an item from The Chroma 3 Collection. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options let buyers select their preferred version of the finish. When comparing individual copies, the exterior, exact float value, and version help distinguish listings that share the same skin name.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Re-Entry was released on April 27, 2016, alongside the Chroma 3 Case. Its introduction was part of the "Chroma 3 Case Skins" update. Steam Workshop community designer L'grand created the finish. The skin belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which also provides its collection-based Trade Up Contract route. The Chroma 3 Case no longer drops after Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, separating current access from new case supply. Trade Up Contracts remain another acquisition route, with Re-Entry available as a possible Restricted result from the collection. Buyers seeking a specific copy can instead use marketplace listings or player-to-player trades, rather than relying on a random result.

Finish Style

The Anodized Multicolored finish concentrates its colorful treatment on the Tec-9's upper assembly. Bright red-orange covers the barrel shroud around its large circular ventilation holes. A flame decal extends along this upper section rather than covering the entire pistol. Blue and turquoise streaks run through the red-orange background, adding cool accents within the warmer design. The small lever above the receiver has an orange-gold appearance that complements the surrounding color. Dark gray on the muzzle and top fittings gives those parts a more subdued look. The receiver, grip, and long magazine remain muted gray, with subtle markings and outlined grip panels adding detail. This busy upper section contrasts with the mostly plain lower half, making the flame artwork the finish's visual focus.

Float Value

Tec-9 | Re-Entry has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.43. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn, with no Battle-Scarred version. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by the exterior and exact float.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Re-Entry has the Restricted rarity grade and belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection. Opening a Chroma 3 Case has a 3.2% chance of producing this skin, so choosing a specific marketplace copy avoids the uncertain case result. Professional players Snax, allu, and XANTARES are among its owners.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red-orange flame artwork with blue and turquoise accents

• Colorful upper assembly paired with a restrained gray lower half

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir options

• Available in Factory New through Well-Worn

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Re-Entry price range is $1.07 to $13.44. A CS2 skin price comparison should match the exterior and version before judging whether a listing fits the buyer's budget. Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn copies provide different condition choices within the same finish. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be checked separately rather than treated as interchangeable purchases. Checking the exact float alongside the listing image helps buyers select a specific copy instead of relying solely on its exterior label.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 3 Case

Opening an existing Chroma 3 Case offers a 3.2% chance of obtaining Tec-9 | Re-Entry. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Chroma 3 Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Re-Entry is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Tec-9 | Re-Entry can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market without relying on a case opening. Compare the exterior, float value, and version of the listed item before selecting a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another way to obtain a specific copy rather than a random case or contract result. Before agreeing to a trade, both sides should confirm the item's exterior, float value, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir version.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement of the Chroma 3 Case drop pool limits fresh case supply, although existing cases and Trade Up Contracts remain acquisition routes. Named professional ownership shows interest in the skin, but does not establish current demand or resale speed. Short-term resale potential remains uncertain, so anyone looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare equivalent exteriors and versions rather than assume quick turnover.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Chroma 3 Case drops

• Ownership by Snax, allu, and XANTARES

• Distinctive flame artwork and contrasting colors

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden buyer choice

Tec-9 | Re-Entry receives a medium investment rating. Retired case drops, an accessible price level, and named professional ownership provide reasons to consider it, without establishing future price growth. The main risk is that supply from existing cases and contracts may meet demand, limiting resale gains.
