Tec-9 | Isaac

Tec-9 | Isaac is a CS2 pistol skin with a dark gray and black base accented by sharp red graphics. Its angular bands and geometric markings give the Terrorist-side weapon a restrained sci-fi appearance. The finish suits players building a dark loadout with red highlights. It comes in all listed exterior tiers, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Tec-9 | Isaac applies a Custom Paint Job finish to the Terrorist-side pistol in CS2. The weapon combines close-range effectiveness with a high-capacity magazine, while this skin gives its body a dark, graphic treatment. Black and dark gray surfaces provide the backdrop for red accents across the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, and magazine. Angular markings follow the upper body, giving the finish a deliberate structure rather than an all-over illustration. Its sci-fi character comes from segmented stripes, bracket-like details, and small geometric symbols. The restrained palette suits players who prefer clear color accents without covering every surface in bright paint. Buyers can choose between standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions according to the type of item they want to own. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float value, and version matter alongside the appearance shown in the item inspection.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Isaac entered CS:GO on May 1, 2014, alongside the Huntsman Weapon Case. Its introduction was part of the Huntsman Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Coridium created the finish, establishing its community-designed origin. The pistol belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which identifies its collection separately from the case used to obtain it. Its release predates CS2, where the item remains available through purchases, trades, and openings of existing cases. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Huntsman Weapon Case no longer drops. Previously distributed cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Today, buying or trading for an existing copy allows players to select an exterior and version rather than depend on a random result.

Finish Style

Isaac uses a Custom Paint Job to create a sci-fi design built around dark surfaces and red graphics. Most of the pistol remains black or dark gray, allowing the brighter painted elements to stand out clearly. Angular red bands run along the upper body, while segmented stripes break the graphics into separate sections. Diagonal accents cross the front of the receiver and continue the design's sharp, geometric character. Small symbols and bracket-like markings add detail to the sides and magazine without filling every dark area. The long magazine carries a gray side strip and a broad red block at its base. The grip stays mostly dark, with a red stripe near its top connecting it visually to the upper weapon. Red accents on the barrel shroud complete the coordinated palette, giving the finish a restrained appearance despite its bright highlights.

Float Value

Tec-9 | Isaac has an exact float range of 0.00 to 1.00, covering the full stated range for this finish. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of those exterior categories excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from cosmetic condition, so buyers should check both the version label and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Isaac is a Mil-Spec Grade skin in The Huntsman Collection. Its chance of appearing from the Huntsman Weapon Case is 13.32%, and existing cases remain openable despite the case no longer dropping. Professional owners include Happy, f0rest, and aizy, although ownership alone does not establish current demand or how quickly a copy will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Sharp red graphics against a restrained dark base

• Sci-fi styling with geometric details

• Available across the full exterior range

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Isaac price range is $1.79 to $48.50. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, separate standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings before evaluating individual offers. Exterior labels organize condition categories, while the exact float provides a more specific reference for the copy being considered. Compare the inspected appearance and asking price together, especially when deciding whether a particular version fits a playing loadout or collection.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Huntsman Weapon Case

Opening the Huntsman Weapon Case gives a 13.32% chance of receiving Tec-9 | Isaac. The case no longer drops, so this route uses an existing case bought on the market or already held. An opening provides a random result rather than allowing the buyer to select a particular exterior.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Tec-9 | Isaac can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the exterior and version in each listing, then check the item's float information where available. This route targets a listed copy instead of relying on the outcome of a Huntsman Weapon Case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

Tec-9 | Isaac can also be obtained through trades with other players. Inspect the offered item's exterior, float, and version, particularly when distinguishing standard copies from StatTrak or Souvenir items. Compare the full trade offer against current listings before accepting rather than treating every Isaac as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops restrict fresh Huntsman case supply, but openings of existing cases can still add Isaac skins to circulation. Without verified price history or listing-depth evidence, sustained demand and resale speed remain uncertain. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare exterior, exact float, and version rather than assume those categories share a price.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case drops restrict new Huntsman case supply

• Distinctive dark finish with sharp red graphics

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

• Ownership by Happy, f0rest, and aizy

The editorial investment rating for Tec-9 | Isaac is medium. Retired case drops and professional ownership provide supporting factors, but existing case openings can still expand the supply of skins. The main risk is paying for a particular variant without enough evidence of sustained demand or dependable resale pricing.
