Tec-9 | Decimator

Tec-9 | Decimator is a CS2 pistol skin for the Terrorist side, pairing dark gray and black with cyan, blue, and pink highlights. Angular linework and triangular wireframes give it a vivid geometric look. It suits players building a colorful loadout around a dark foundation. All exterior tiers are available, along with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The Tec-9 | Decimator is a CS2 pistol skin built around a dark base and sharply contrasting geometric accents. The Tec-9 suits close-range use on the Terrorist side and features a high-capacity magazine. Its Decimator finish uses the Gunsmith style, with cyan, blue, and pink details defining the design. Dense wireframe triangles distinguish the grip and magazine from the relatively plain central receiver. This balance suits players who want bright colors without equally busy decoration across every surface. The finish belongs to The Shattered Web Collection and carries Classified rarity. Buyers can consider all exterior tiers, alongside standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions. Compare the exact float value and listing images, since the finish name alone does not describe an individual copy's condition.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Decimator arrived in CS:GO on November 18, 2019. Its release accompanied the Operation Shattered Web update and the Shattered Web Case. Coridium created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The pistol belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which also provides its trade-up route. Its original case remains an acquisition route through opening existing copies. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Shattered Web Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market, so retirement does not prevent further openings. Today, marketplace purchases, player trades, and eligible trade-up contracts offer alternatives to opening the case.

Finish Style

Decimator is a Gunsmith finish with custom-painted highlights against a dark gray and black base. The perforated barrel shroud carries magenta angular linework, while the muzzle remains gray. Cyan edges and thin blue lines follow the upper receiver, adding narrow accents rather than broad color blocks. A pink stripe runs beneath the black top section, contrasting with the darker body. The magazine and pistol grip carry dense triangular wireframes, shifting from cyan near the top to pink toward the bottom. A small pointed emblem on the magazine combines cyan and pink within the surrounding geometry. The relatively plain central receiver contrasts with the decorated grip, magazine, and shroud. The overall design favors sharp outlines and contrasting colors, making it suitable for players who prefer geometric detail over a single-color finish.

Float Value

The Tec-9 | Decimator float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.75. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but version choice is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by the float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Decimator has Classified rarity. Its Shattered Web Case opening chance is 1.07%, or about 1 in 94 case results. Professional owners include s1mple, pashaBiceps, and electronic, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Cyan and pink highlights against a dark base

• Angular shroud details and dense triangular wireframes

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collection preferences

• All exterior tiers for flexible condition choices

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Decimator price range is $13.73 to $350.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior, exact float, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status help distinguish individual listings. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check those attributes alongside the item image before choosing a copy. Players planning to buy, sell, or trade should compare matching versions and conditions rather than treating every Decimator as interchangeable.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shattered Web Case

Open the Shattered Web Case for a chance at this Classified pistol skin. Its opening chance is 1.07%, so buying a case does not secure the finish. The case no longer drops, but existing copies can still be bought and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Restricted skins from The Shattered Web Collection produces 1 Classified skin from that collection. Tec-9 | Decimator is a possible result, not a guaranteed one. The outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing Tec-9 | Decimator listing on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a randomized opening. Check the exterior, exact float, and version to confirm that the copy matches the intended purchase.

5. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the pistol through a player-to-player trade when another owner offers a copy. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float value, and version before agreeing to the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of its original case, but existing openings and trade-up contracts can still add skins. Professional ownership offers visibility, not proof of current trading demand or turnover. Compare exterior, exact float, and version before buying or setting expectations for a sale or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Shattered Web Case drops

• Classified rarity with a low case-opening chance

• Owned by s1mple, pashaBiceps, and electronic

• Distinctive cyan-and-pink geometric finish

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired case supply, Classified rarity, and professional ownership. The main risk is that existing cases and trade-up contracts can keep producing copies while current demand remains uncertain. These factors support consideration as a hold, not a promise of appreciation.
