Tec-9 | Flash Out

Tec-9 | Flash Out is a CS2 pistol skin for the Terrorist side, with a custom-painted design inspired by a flashbang grenade. Orange-tan surfaces, a turquoise band and green detailing contrast with its dark gray lower body. The equipment-inspired look suits players who prefer colorful accents over a monochrome finish. It comes in every listed exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Tec-9 | Flash Out gives the Terrorist-side pistol a grenade-inspired appearance in CS2 through a Custom Paint Job finish. The weapon itself is suited to close-range encounters and has a high magazine capacity. Its visual theme translates flashbang styling into broad painted sections rather than an elaborate illustration. A colorful upper assembly contrasts with the darker receiver and grip, making the division between the weapon's parts easy to distinguish. The orange-tan, turquoise and green palette suits loadouts built around contrasting colors and equipment-themed designs. Dark openings and short surface markings add detail without replacing the finish's block-based layout. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options give buyers different versions to consider alongside the appearance. When choosing a copy, players can compare its exact float value, exterior and version rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Flash Out was released on October 18, 2019, alongside the CS20 Case. Its introduction was part of the CS20 Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer MultiH created the finish, bringing the flashbang concept to the Tec-9. The skin belongs to The CS20 Collection. Its acquisition context changed when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The CS20 Case no longer drops, so that route no longer adds new cases to its supply. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the pistol. Today, players can also obtain an existing skin through the Steam Community Market or a trade, without relying on a case opening.

Finish Style

The Flash Out finish uses a Custom Paint Job built around broad color blocks that suggest a flashbang grenade. Orange-tan paint covers the barrel shroud and upper tube, forming the main colored area of the pistol. A turquoise band wraps around the rear portion of the perforated shroud, interrupting the warmer surface with a cooler accent. Large circular openings expose dark interiors and give the upper assembly a pronounced pattern of light and dark shapes. Short dark markings run along the orange surface, adding smaller details within the larger painted sections. A green strip follows the lower edge of the upper assembly, directly above the dark gray receiver and grip. The long magazine is light gray, while the grip combines a pale gray inset panel with dark horizontal grooves. A small white emblem on the magazine housing completes the design without competing with the larger colored areas.

Float Value

The float value range for Tec-9 | Flash Out is exactly 0.00 to 0.70. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, with version choice remaining separate from the cosmetic condition identified by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Flash Out is a Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin from The CS20 Collection and the CS20 Case. Its chance of appearing from a CS20 Case opening is 11.42%, which describes the opening outcome rather than its market availability. Professional players apEX, tarik and Stewie2K have owned the skin, providing a concrete example of ownership without establishing future demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Flashbang-inspired styling gives the pistol a clear visual theme

• Orange-tan and turquoise blocks suit colorful loadouts

• Available exteriors give players several condition options

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions add collecting choices

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Flash Out price range is $0.18 to $25.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than representing fixed prices for a particular exterior or version. Exterior and exact float help identify the cosmetic condition of each copy being offered. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings should be compared separately instead of being assumed to carry identical prices. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those details before deciding which listing to buy or how to position a copy for sale.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the CS20 Case

Opening an existing CS20 Case offers a chance to receive Tec-9 | Flash Out. Its drop chance is 11.42%, so an opening does not guarantee this particular pistol. The case no longer drops, but cases already in circulation can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Tec-9 | Flash Out can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market, avoiding the random outcome of opening a CS20 Case. Buyers should check the exterior and whether the listing is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir. An individual listing's price applies to that version, not automatically to every copy of the finish.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Tec-9 | Flash Out by trading with other players who already own it. Before accepting an exchange, compare the offered copy's exterior, float and version with the item being sought. Trading transfers an existing skin rather than requiring a successful case opening.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retirement of CS20 Case drops limits new case supply, although existing cases can still produce additional copies of the skin. Its low price level and professional ownership provide useful context, but neither establishes sustained trading demand or a future price trend. Buyers and sellers should compare exterior, exact float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status before treating listings as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• CS20 Case no longer receives new drops

• Owned by apEX, tarik and Stewie2K

• Distinctive flashbang-inspired Custom Paint Job

• Available in StatTrak and Souvenir versions

The editorial investment rating for Tec-9 | Flash Out is medium. Retired case supply and professional ownership support its appeal, while its low price level keeps it accessible as a playing skin. The main risk is continued skin supply from existing cases without clear evidence of stronger future demand.
