Short Description

Tec-9 | Fubar is a CS2 pistol skin with military camouflage and scorched metal details. Olive green, khaki and muted brown patches contrast with its dark barrel shroud and reddish-brown magazine. The subdued design suits players who prefer a rugged, military-themed loadout. It comes in Minimal Wear through Battle-Scarred, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Tec-9 | Fubar gives the Terrorist-side pistol a military-themed finish built around camouflage and visibly distressed details. The weapon itself is suited to close-quarters use and features a high-capacity magazine. Its Gunsmith finish combines broad painted shapes with contrasting metal surfaces across the weapon. The muted palette keeps the camouflage understated, while the reddish-brown magazine adds a distinct color accent. Scorched coloring at the muzzle reinforces the deliberately used appearance without relying on bright decoration. This look suits players who want equipment-style colors rather than a polished or colorful pistol. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options let buyers choose a version alongside their preferred exterior. When comparing listings, the float value, exterior and inventory image help distinguish individual copies beyond the shared finish name.

History and Origin

Tec-9 | Fubar was released in CS:GO on December 6, 2018. It arrived in the Danger Zone Case through the Danger Zone Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Marduk created the skin. Its collection membership is The Danger Zone Collection, linking the finish to that group of weapon skins. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of the Danger Zone Case. As of October 9, 2026, that case remains outside the drop pool. Existing containers can still be bought on the market and opened, so case retirement has not removed the opening route. Today, players can also acquire an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish brings together camouflage paint, dark metal and heat-marked details for a military equipment aesthetic. Irregular olive green, khaki and muted brown patches cover the receiver and grip instead of forming a uniform repeating design. The upper receiver is dark gray, with pale scuffed-looking marks tracing parts of its edges. A mostly black perforated barrel shroud gives the front of the pistol a darker visual base. Near the receiver, blue-purple and brown scorched coloring interrupts that black surface and supports the finish's used character. The long magazine is reddish brown, with dark gray ends that separate it visually from the camouflage-covered body. A faint outlined emblem appears on the magazine's side without becoming the main focal point. A dark textured grip panel adds another surface treatment, balancing the broad camouflage shapes with smaller, subdued details.

Float Value

The Tec-9 | Fubar float value ranges from 0.14 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no Factory New option. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but those version labels are separate from the exterior condition represented by the float.

Rarity and Popularity

Tec-9 | Fubar belongs to the Mil-Spec Grade rarity tier. Opening the Danger Zone Case gives an 11.42% chance of receiving this skin. Professional owners include coldzera, adreN and mixwell, although their ownership alone does not establish broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted camouflage suits military-themed loadouts

• Scorched metal gives the pistol a rugged character

• Reddish-brown magazine provides a distinct color accent

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options offer version choice

Price Range

The live Tec-9 | Fubar price range is $0.11 to $45.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than identifying the cost of a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, separate standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings before comparing their condition. Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred copies provide different exterior choices within the supported float range. Check the individual float and item image alongside the asking price, rather than assuming every copy with the same exterior offers identical value.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Danger Zone Case

Open an existing Danger Zone Case for a chance to receive Tec-9 | Fubar. The skin's opening chance is 11.42%, so the result is not guaranteed. The case no longer drops, but remaining containers can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Tec-9 | Fubar on the Steam Community Market to select an existing copy instead of relying on a case opening. Compare the exterior and version labels before choosing a listing. Its supported options include standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions, with no Factory New exterior.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player to obtain an existing Tec-9 | Fubar rather than opening its case. Confirm the offered item's version, exterior and float before accepting the exchange. A trade targets a particular copy, unlike the random result of a Danger Zone Case opening.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Danger Zone Case receives no new drops, although openings of existing containers can still add copies of this skin. Its low price level and professional ownership provide context, but future demand and price growth remain uncertain. Buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching versions and exteriors before treating differences between listings as a trading opportunity.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source limits fresh container supply

• Ownership includes established professional players

• Low price level offers an accessible entry point

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

• Distinct camouflage and scorched-metal styling

The editorial investment rating for Tec-9 | Fubar is medium. Retired case drops, an accessible price level and professional ownership support that assessment, but they do not demonstrate sustained price growth. The main risk is that existing cases can still produce copies while future buyer demand remains uncertain.
