Shadow Daggers | Scorched

★ Shadow Daggers | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a subdued, spray-painted finish on paired push daggers. Pale silver-gray metal, dark blade-edge bands and faint cream mottling define its appearance. The restrained palette suits players who prefer metallic knife finishes without dense artwork. All exterior grades are available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Shadow Daggers | Scorched brings a softly mottled finish to the paired push-dagger weapon in CS2. Each dagger combines a compact blade with an open-frame handle, making the paired silhouette central to its identity. The Scorched treatment covers both blades and handles rather than concentrating its pattern on a single surface. Light central blade faces contrast with darker bands along the edges, giving the muted design some definition. Its cream and gray palette suits loadouts built around neutral colors and understated metal textures. Buyers can choose among all available exterior grades according to their preferred condition and budget. Standard and StatTrak versions provide separate options without changing the underlying finish design. When comparing listings, the useful details are the exterior, exact float value, version and appearance of the individual copy.

History and Origin

The skin was released on September 17, 2015, alongside the Shadow Case. Its introduction formed part of the Shadow Case Skins update, establishing that case as its original acquisition route. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer, so its origin differs from a community-submitted design. The accompanying flavor text credits Valeria Jenner and connects the Phoenix with renewal rather than destruction. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Shadow Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping the historical case route available despite that retirement. Players can also obtain an existing copy through Eneba Skins, the Steam Community Market or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

Scorched uses the Spray-Paint finish style to create an irregular pattern resembling patches of sunlight across metal. Pale silver-gray tones dominate the blades and continue onto the matching handles. Broad dark gray bands follow the blade edges, contrasting with the lighter central faces. Faint cream and gray patches soften that contrast across both the blades and handle surfaces. The open-frame handles leave visible gaps that distinguish their shape from the solid blade faces. Bright reflective highlights keep the metal character visible within the otherwise subdued color scheme. A small black emblem sits near the base of each blade, adding a compact detail without dominating the design. Overall, the finish relies on soft mottling and contrasting metal tones rather than dense illustrations or large graphic elements.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Shadow Daggers | Scorched is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Shadow Daggers | Scorched has the Covert rarity grade, identifying its classification separately from its exterior condition. Its individual chance of being obtained from the Shadow Case is 0.02%, making a specific case-opening result unlikely. Although the case no longer drops, existing cases and marketplace copies remain available, so rarity does not mean the finish is unobtainable.

Why it’s Popular:

• Subdued silver-gray colors suit neutral loadouts

• Soft mottling avoids dense artwork

• Open-frame handles give the paired daggers a distinctive shape

• Standard and StatTrak options accommodate different preferences

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range is $36.52 to $300.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a fixed exterior or version. Exterior labels provide a condition category, while the exact float helps distinguish individual copies within that category. Standard and StatTrak listings should be compared separately instead of treating every offer as an equivalent item. Before choosing where to buy, compare the asking price with the listed float, version and item image to judge whether the copy fits the intended loadout.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Opening the Shadow Case can produce this finish, with an individual chance of 0.02%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. This route offers a chance at the knife rather than a direct purchase of the desired result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct route to buying an existing copy without opening a case. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is standard or StatTrak, then inspect the available item details before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with another player who owns a copy. Compare the offered knife's exterior, float and version before agreeing to the exchange, especially when evaluating it against other items in the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement prevents new Shadow Case drops, although existing cases can still produce additional Scorched daggers when opened. When looking to buy, sell or trade, compare copies within the relevant exterior and version rather than relying on the overall range. Demand trends and resale speed remain uncertain, so variation between asking prices alone should not be treated as evidence of investment momentum.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Shadow Case supply cannot receive new drops

• Low individual chance of obtaining the finish

• StatTrak availability offers an additional collecting option

• Valve-created design with a documented release history

The editorial investment rating is medium, reflecting retired case supply and Covert rarity without assuming proven demand growth. The main risk is uncertain buyer demand, while existing cases can still add knife copies and limit the significance of case retirement alone.
