Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh is a CS2 knife skin for the paired, push-style Shadow Daggers. Muted olive-green and khaki coloring combines with faint mesh patterns and angular patches across the blades. Its subdued appearance suits players building an earthy loadout rather than choosing a brightly colored knife. All exterior grades are available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh brings a stencil-painted camouflage finish to the compact Shadow Daggers in CS2. The paired blades and open-frame handles give the item a distinctive shape without relying on elaborate decoration. Olive-green and khaki dominate the surfaces, keeping the palette restrained across both daggers. Darker green and lighter tan patches add detail without overwhelming the underlying mesh texture. Narrow silver-gray edges provide a small contrast against the painted blade faces. This combination suits players who prefer muted equipment colors and a practical-looking finish. Standard and StatTrak versions are available. The available exteriors cover Factory New through Battle-Scarred, giving buyers several condition categories to explore. Before choosing a copy, buyers can compare its exact float value, exterior, version and visible appearance rather than relying on the finish name alone.

History and Origin

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh was released on September 17, 2015. Its introduction formed part of the Shadow Case Skins update, alongside the Shadow Case. Valve created the finish, so its design originated internally rather than with a community designer. The finish's visual foundation is stencil painting, using mesh and angular shapes to produce its camouflage appearance. The Shadow Case remains the case associated with obtaining this knife through an opening. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Shadow Case drops. As of October 9, 2026, the case no longer drops, separating its current availability from its original release. Existing Shadow Cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Buyers can also obtain already-unboxed copies through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Safari Mesh uses the Spray-Paint finish style, with a deliberately subdued surface rather than a polished decorative treatment. Mesh fencing and cardboard shapes serve as stencils, creating a combination of fine texture and broader patches. Muted olive-green and khaki extend across the blades and open-frame handles of both daggers. The blade faces carry overlapping angular areas in darker green and lighter tan. A faint mesh pattern sits within that low-contrast arrangement, adding detail without becoming the dominant visual feature. Thin silver-gray lines follow the cutting edges and continue toward the pointed tips. Large handle cutouts interrupt the painted surfaces and keep the daggers' open construction visible. Each handle also carries a small dark emblem close to the blade, adding a restrained detail near the grip. Together, these elements give the finish an earthy, camouflage-like character with little ornamental detail.

Float Value

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80, which defines the condition span available for this finish. Its exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is missing. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; version choice is separate from the float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh is a Covert knife skin associated with the Shadow Case. Its individual drop chance from that case is 0.02%, making an opening a chance-based route rather than a direct purchase. The case no longer receives new drops, but existing cases can still produce the skin when opened, and already-unboxed copies remain obtainable through markets and trades.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive-green and khaki suit earthy loadout colors

• Faint mesh texture adds detail without bright decoration

• Paired blades and open-frame handles create a distinctive silhouette

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh price range is $35.00 to $807.50. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, separate standard listings from StatTrak listings before comparing condition. Check the exact float within each exterior category and inspect the pictured copy rather than assuming every listing looks identical. When deciding where to buy, sell or trade, compare equivalent versions and conditions instead of treating the overall range as a valuation for every copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Open the Shadow Case for a chance to receive the ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh. Its drop chance is 0.02%, so opening a case does not secure this particular knife. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh directly through the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case result. Compare the listed exterior and whether the item is standard or StatTrak before selecting a copy. Direct purchase allows a buyer to choose an available listing rather than accept an uncertain opening outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns the ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh to obtain an existing copy. Check the offered item's exterior, float value and StatTrak status before agreeing to the exchange. Compare the specific copy with equivalent listings, since the finish's overall price range does not establish every trade's value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement of the Shadow Case limits its remaining case supply, although opening existing cases can still add new copies of this knife. That supports a supply-based holding argument, but future buyer demand and resale prices remain uncertain. Traders should compare standard and StatTrak versions separately, then narrow their comparison by exterior and exact float rather than assuming all Safari Mesh copies share the same market position.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Shadow Case limits future case supply

• StatTrak availability adds a distinct collecting option

• Valve-created camouflage has a clear visual identity

• Broad exterior selection offers buyers condition choices

The ★ Shadow Daggers | Safari Mesh receives a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case source and available collecting options. Limited case supply provides a reason to consider holding it, but there is no established price trend here to support a stronger verdict. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, especially when a listing's asking price is treated as proof of future value.
