About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes the skin's cosmetic condition, represented by its float value and exterior. Crimson Web spans 0.06 to 0.80; choosing standard or StatTrak is separate from choosing its condition.

How much does ★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web cost?

Short Description

★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web is a CS2 knife skin with red blade faces crossed by dark spiderweb lines. Broad gray blade centers and mostly plain handles give the detailed pattern room to stand out. The look suits players who prefer red accents and a subdued sheen. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with standard and StatTrak™ versions but no Souvenir edition.

Description

★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web applies a red web design to the paired push daggers available in CS2. The compact blades combine patterned faces with broad gray centers and bright cutting edges. Dark gray handles keep the grip areas visually quieter than the blades. This balance suits players building a red-accented loadout without wanting decoration across every surface. The Hydrographic finish pairs its detailed web pattern with a subdued semi-gloss sheen. Professional player TACO owns the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish wider demand. Buyers can compare the available exteriors, individual float values, and standard or StatTrak versions when choosing a listing. Checking the pictured blades alongside the listed condition helps separate personal visual preference from the price comparison.

History and Origin

★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web debuted in CS:GO on September 17, 2015. It arrived with the Shadow Case as part of the Shadow Case Skins update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Its accompanying flavor text presents the web motif as a warning about hidden danger. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Shadow Case no longer drops, so new case drops do not replenish its supply. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened for a chance at the knife. Today, an existing skin can also be acquired through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

The Crimson Web finish uses a Hydrographic process to apply dark spiderweb lines over a red base. Across both blades, those fine lines divide the colored areas into irregular angular sections. Broad gray sections run through the blade centers, interrupting the red areas and adding contrast. Narrow bright edges outline the cutting surfaces, creating a clear boundary around the patterned blade faces. The handles remain mostly dark gray, with large open cutouts defining their shape. Small dark red markings near the blade bases connect the handle area visually to the main color. A semi-gloss topcoat gives the finish a restrained sheen rather than an intensely reflective appearance. The visual emphasis stays on the blades, while the largely plain handles balance the detailed web pattern.

Float Value

★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; the version choice is separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The skin has Covert rarity and a 0.02% chance of being obtained from the Shadow Case. That chance concerns obtaining this skin through a case opening, not its availability in marketplace listings. Existing copies remain obtainable through purchases or trades even though the associated case no longer receives new drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red blade faces contrasted with dark spiderweb lines

• Paired push daggers with open-cutout handles

• Subdued semi-gloss sheen

• Standard and StatTrak options for different buying preferences

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web is $54.36 to $569.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior, exact float value, and StatTrak status are useful distinctions when comparing individual listings. Factory New and worn copies represent different cosmetic conditions, so the overall range cannot replace inspection of the listed knife. Compare the visible finish and version alongside the price rather than treating every Crimson Web copy as interchangeable.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Open the Shadow Case for a chance at this knife, with a 0.02% chance of receiving ★ Shadow Daggers | Crimson Web. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy on the Steam Community Market to choose a listed knife rather than attempt a case opening. Compare the exterior, float value, and standard or StatTrak version before selecting a copy for the intended loadout.

4. Trade with Other Players

The skin can also be acquired by trading with other players who already own a copy. Check the offered item's name, exterior, float value, and StatTrak status so the trade matches the intended knife.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Shadow Case no longer receives new drops, and opening existing cases reduces the remaining unopened supply. That constraint alone does not demonstrate rising knife prices or sustained buying demand. Anyone looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare current listings by exterior, float, and StatTrak status rather than equate limited case supply with limited skin availability.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply cannot be replenished through new drops

• Low case-opening chance for this specific skin

• Distinct red blades with a dark spiderweb motif

• Documented ownership by professional player TACO

The investment outlook is medium, supported by retired case supply, a low opening chance, and documented professional ownership. These features give buyers reasons to consider holding the skin, but they do not establish strong resale demand or future price growth. The main risk is paying for assumed scarcity without evidence of a sustained market trend.
