Shadow Daggers | Slaughter

★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter is a CS2 knife skin featuring paired push daggers with a red-and-pink metallic finish. Dark zebra-like stripes contrast with pale central sections across the blades and open-frame handles. The busy, bright design suits players building a red-themed loadout or wanting a patterned knife. Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested copies are available, including StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter brings a bright, patterned finish to the paired Shadow Daggers knives in CS2. Their push-dagger design is built around a punching motion rather than the shape of a conventional handled knife. Red and pink coloring extends across both the blades and handles, giving the pair a coordinated appearance. Darker stripes and curved shapes make the broad blade faces visually busy rather than uniformly colored. Large handle cutouts introduce dark gaps within the otherwise bright finish, keeping the open-frame construction clearly visible. The Slaughter finish suits players who prefer metallic highlights and strong color contrast over a restrained knife appearance. Buyers can choose between standard and StatTrak versions without changing the underlying finish or weapon type. Before choosing a copy, compare its exterior, exact float and pictured pattern instead of judging the knife by its listing name alone.

History and Origin

★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter was released on September 17, 2015, alongside the Shadow Case. The accompanying update was titled "Shadow Case Skins", placing the knife's debut within that case release. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its flavor text portrays Valeria as paying Javier to extract answers instead of simply asking questions. As of October 9, 2026, the Shadow Case no longer drops following the rare drop pool's retirement on December 17, 2025. This retirement affects new case drops, not the ability to open cases already in circulation. Existing Shadow Cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a chance at the knife. Current buyers can also acquire an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Slaughter uses the Anodized Multicolored finish style, combining metallic paint with a red coating. Aluminum and chrome paints create the underlying zebra-like pattern, with differing reflectivity contributing to its contrast. A tomato-red candy coat gives that metallic foundation its overall red character, while the visible finish also includes bright pink areas. Dark red stripes and irregular curved shapes spread across the broad blade faces rather than forming straight geometric bands. A pale pink, nearly white section runs from each handle into its blade, separating the darker patterned outer areas. The open-frame handles have large dark cutouts, bright pink borders and a small dark emblem near each blade junction. Bright highlights follow portions of the blade edges and handles, emphasizing their outlines against the darker markings. Together, these details give the paired daggers a busy, high-contrast appearance with distinct pale centers and patterned edges.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter is 0.01 to 0.26. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, with no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. Standard and StatTrak versions are available; version availability is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance from opening the Shadow Case is 0.02%, so opening that case is not a certain route to this specific finish. Professional players rallen and friberg have owned the skin, although ownership alone does not establish current trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red-and-pink coloring suits coordinated knife loadouts

• Metallic highlights contrast with dark zebra-like markings

• Open-frame handles carry the finish beyond the blades

• StatTrak availability adds another version to consider

Price Range

The live ★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter price range is $81.18 to $403.09. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested listings separately, then check exact floats within the same exterior. Keep standard and StatTrak listings distinct when evaluating a CS2 skin price. Review the pictured finish and item details alongside the asking price before deciding to buy, sell or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Open the Shadow Case for a chance at this finish, with a stated probability of 0.02%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route leaves the result uncertain, unlike purchasing the exact knife.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Shadow Daggers | Slaughter through the Steam Community Market by selecting an existing listing. Check the exterior, float and standard or StatTrak version before completing the purchase. This route lets buyers choose the listed item rather than depend on a case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

The knife can also be obtained by trading with other players. Confirm the offered item's exterior, exact float and StatTrak status before accepting, and compare those details with the copy being sought.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Shadow Case drops constrain fresh case supply, but opening existing cases can still introduce additional copies of the knife. Professional ownership gives the finish visibility, without proving strong current demand or easy resale. Compare available exteriors and standard versus StatTrak listings carefully, because there is no established price history here to support a trend claim.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Shadow Case drops constrain fresh case supply

• Documented ownership by rallen and friberg

• Distinctive metallic red-and-pink finish

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different buyer options

The investment assessment is medium-to-good, supported by retired case drops, the low stated acquisition chance and professional ownership. That is an editorial judgment, not a prediction of returns. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while existing Shadow Cases can still add copies to circulation.
