Short Description

SG 553 | Pulse is a CS2 rifle skin for the Terrorist side, pairing dark charcoal with bright fuchsia and purple fragments. Its angular design suits players who prefer bold color accents over a mostly dark weapon. Available exteriors run from Minimal Wear to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also supported.

Description

SG 553 | Pulse gives the Terrorist-side scoped rifle a fragmented, brightly colored finish in CS2. The weapon itself offers a scoped option for long-range engagements. Fuchsia and purple shapes cover the handguard and receiver, breaking up the charcoal background. Darker attachments frame the colorful body without extending the busy pattern across every surface. This combination suits loadouts built around pink, purple, or dark colors. Professional players FalleN, Edward, and bondik have owned the skin. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions give buyers different options beyond the finish itself. When choosing a copy on Eneba Skins, compare its exterior, exact float value, version, and individual listing price.

History and Origin

SG 553 | Pulse debuted in CS:GO on February 20, 2014, during the Operation Phoenix update. Its release accompanied the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case. The skin belongs to The Phoenix Collection. Steam Workshop community designer Thurnip created the finish. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Operation Phoenix Weapon Case drops. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, preserving the original case-opening route. Eligible Trade Up Contracts provide another route through the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing copy through Eneba Skins, the Steam Community Market, or player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Pulse uses the Custom Paint Job finish style, with a painted hydrographic fragment motif. A dark charcoal base provides the background for its vivid colors. Bold fuchsia and purple fragments spread across the handguard and receiver. Angular shards, broken lines, and blocky shapes leave dark gaps throughout the pattern. The magazine carries larger purple and pink geometric patches than the finer shapes elsewhere. The pistol grip is predominantly bright fuchsia, interrupted by dark markings. The barrel and stock stay mainly dark, with scattered pink accents and diagonal purple stripes near the rear. A mostly black scope keeps the attachments restrained beside the busy rifle body.

Float Value

The float value of SG 553 | Pulse ranges from 0.10 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no Factory New option. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are supported, but version availability is separate from a particular copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

SG 553 | Pulse has the Restricted rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case is 4.0%. The case no longer drops, although existing cases can still be opened for a chance at the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bold fuchsia and purple accents against a charcoal base

• Angular fragments give the rifle a distinctive geometric look

• Dark attachments balance the colorful body

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the choice of versions

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for SG 553 | Pulse is $2.01 to $45.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed price for a named variant. Compare Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred listings using their exact float values. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies should be checked separately rather than treated as interchangeable offers. Before buying, selling, or trading, use individual listing details to compare copies with matching exteriors and versions.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case

Open the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case for a 4.0% chance of receiving SG 553 | Pulse. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. Opening one does not let the buyer choose Pulse as the result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Phoenix Collection returns 1 Restricted skin from that collection. SG 553 | Pulse is a possible outcome, chosen randomly among the collection's Restricted skins. Check each input's collection and rarity before committing it to the contract.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy SG 553 | Pulse directly from a listing on the Steam Community Market. This avoids the random result of opening a case or completing a Trade Up Contract. Compare the listed exterior and version before selecting a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

SG 553 | Pulse can also be obtained through a player-to-player trade. Check the offered copy's float value, exterior, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir status. Confirm the specific item being exchanged rather than relying on the finish name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

New Phoenix case drops have ended, but existing case openings and eligible Trade Up Contracts can still add Pulse copies. Documented professional ownership does not establish resale demand or a reliable price trend. Compare matching exteriors, floats, and versions before deciding to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source prevents fresh case drops

• Restricted rarity limits its case-opening chance

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive finish with StatTrak and Souvenir options

The investment outlook is medium, supported by the retired case source, Restricted rarity, and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still add copies.
