SG 553 | Candy Apple

SG 553 | Candy Apple is a CS2 rifle skin with bright red components contrasted against a dark handguard, stock, and scope. Its solid color blocks suit players who prefer a clean red-and-black loadout without decorative artwork. All exterior categories are available, alongside standard and Souvenir versions, but there is no StatTrak™ option.

Description

SG 553 | Candy Apple brings a Solid Color finish to a scoped Terrorist-side rifle in CS2. The weapon is positioned as a scoped option for longer-range engagements. Bright red covers the receiver, pistol grip, barrel, and front sight assembly. A dark handguard, skeletal stock, and scope provide contrast around those painted components. The metallic gray magazine adds another visual element without introducing decorative artwork. This restrained design suits players who want a colorful rifle without lettering or illustrated motifs. Professional players f0rest, Boombl4, and Forester have owned the skin, establishing a documented presence in competitive players' inventories. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value, and standard or Souvenir status when selecting a copy.

History and Origin

SG 553 | Candy Apple was released on November 18, 2019. Its introduction came through the Operation Shattered Web update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The skin was released with The Canals Collection. Its flavor text draws a playful connection between automotive paint and weapon finishes, matching the straightforward painted appearance. Today, existing copies can be purchased through Eneba Skins or the Steam Community Market. Player-to-player trading provides another route to ownership, separate from the skin's original release. Its Canals origin also remains relevant to trade-up contracts, where eligible Consumer Grade inputs can produce this Industrial Grade skin.

Finish Style

Candy Apple uses the Solid Color finish style, assigning contrasting painted colors to individual weapon components. The receiver, pistol grip, barrel, and front sight assembly share a bright red treatment. The black or dark gray scope sits above the red receiver, creating a clear separation between those parts. A dark ribbed handguard adds texture through its molded shape rather than a printed pattern. The skeletal stock continues the dark coloring at the rear of the rifle. Its curved magazine remains metallic gray, introducing a neutral surface beneath the red body. Bright highlights follow the magazine's raised edges and emphasize its shape. There is no visible artwork, lettering, or decorative pattern across the finish. Instead, the visual character comes from solid color blocks, contrasting components, and the rifle's ridges and grooves.

Float Value

The SG 553 | Candy Apple float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.70. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, covering every exterior category. Standard and Souvenir versions are available; version choice is separate from the copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

SG 553 | Candy Apple has an Industrial Grade rarity classification, separate from its float value and exterior. Its Canals Collection odds are 4.0%, about 1 in 25, and should not be confused with a trade-up contract's random result. Recorded professional owners include f0rest, Boombl4, and Forester, although ownership alone does not establish broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright red and dark components suit coordinated loadouts

• Clean design without lettering or decorative artwork

• Metallic magazine adds contrast to the painted rifle

• Standard and Souvenir versions provide different collecting options

Price Range

The live SG 553 | Candy Apple price range is $3.46 to $13.44. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior and exact float help identify the copy's condition, while Souvenir status distinguishes another available version. Compare matching variants when assessing the CS2 skin price, rather than treating every Candy Apple listing as equivalent. Check the individual item details before choosing where to buy, sell, or trade, particularly when a specific exterior matters.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Canals Collection for 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Candy Apple is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins. This route does not guarantee the desired finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

SG 553 | Candy Apple can be purchased on the Steam Community Market. Check each listing's exterior and whether it is a standard or Souvenir version. Direct purchasing allows buyers to select a listed copy instead of relying on a random contract outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the exterior, float value, and standard or Souvenir status of the offered item before accepting. The exchange concerns that specific copy rather than a random collection result.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Standard and Souvenir versions, together with the full exterior range, give traders several variants to compare. Its accessible price level and recorded professional ownership offer context, but do not demonstrate future price growth or selling speed. Future supply and demand remain uncertain, so comparisons should focus on the actual listings rather than an assumed market trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish from The Canals Collection

• Recorded ownership by professional players

• Souvenir availability adds a distinct collecting option

• Clean red-and-black styling suits coordinated loadouts

SG 553 | Candy Apple receives a medium investment rating, supported by its accessible price level and recorded professional ownership. Its collection identity and Souvenir availability add collecting options without establishing a stronger investment outlook. The main risk is uncertain future supply and demand, with no established price trend supporting an expectation of returns.
