SG 553 | Basket Halftone

SG 553 | Basket Halftone is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side scoped rifle. Orange and dark charcoal surfaces carry a dense pattern of dots and overlapping basket-like lines. Its busy, geometric appearance suits players building an orange loadout or seeking a patterned rifle finish. Standard and Souvenir versions are available across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred exteriors.

Description

SG 553 | Basket Halftone brings an orange geometric finish to a scoped rifle used on the Terrorist side in CS2. Dark charcoal breaks up the bright base, giving the weapon a contrasting palette. Dense dots and angular lines create a layered design rather than a simple block of color. The treatment extends across the receiver, handguard, magazine, stock and scope, making the pattern visible throughout the weapon. Ribbed dark sections on the grip and furniture add solid areas within the busier artwork. The look suits players who prefer textured, graphic designs over a restrained rifle finish. Buyers can choose a standard copy or a Souvenir version, depending on their collecting preferences. Listings are worth comparing by exterior, exact float and version rather than by the finish name alone.

History and Origin

SG 553 | Basket Halftone entered CS2 on March 31, 2025, with the Spring 2025 Skins update. Its debut was part of The Radiant Collection, which remains its collection identity. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Today, existing copies can be purchased through the Steam Community Market, separately from the skin's original release. Player-to-player trading provides another way to acquire a particular copy. Trade Up Contracts also offer a route through Consumer Grade skins from The Radiant Collection. Those contracts produce a random Industrial Grade result, so obtaining Basket Halftone through this route is not assured. The available versions include standard and Souvenir copies.

Finish Style

Basket Halftone uses a Spray-Paint finish built around orange surfaces and dark charcoal contrast. Dense halftone dots cover the body, creating a textured appearance through repeated small marks. Overlapping angular lines give the pattern its basket-like structure without turning it into a uniform grid. The receiver and magazine carry this busy treatment, extending the visual theme across prominent parts of the rifle. Orange and charcoal also reach the stock and scope, keeping the upper silhouette connected to the body. The barrel is mostly orange, with dark bands and details around the muzzle. Prominent dark ribbing appears on the lower handguard, pistol grip and upper stock. Small silver-colored components near the front sight add localized contrast within the orange-and-charcoal design.

Float Value

SG 553 | Basket Halftone has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is excluded. Standard and Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by an individual copy's float.

Rarity and Popularity

SG 553 | Basket Halftone is an Industrial Grade skin in The Radiant Collection. Its acquisition chance within that collection is 2.67%, which should not be confused with the possible result of a Trade Up Contract. Professional players rain, lauNX and Dima own the finish, providing identifiable ownership without establishing broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Orange and charcoal suit a coordinated rifle loadout

• Dense dots and basket-like lines give the finish visual texture

• Souvenir availability adds a collecting option

• All exterior categories offer flexibility when choosing a copy

Price Range

The live SG 553 | Basket Halftone price range is $0.02 to $0.50. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Its inexpensive market position makes it approachable for buyers choosing a patterned orange rifle. Compare standard and Souvenir listings separately, then check the exterior and exact float within each group. Inspect the individual item preview before buying, since the overall CS2 skin price range does not describe the condition of a specific copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Radiant Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. SG 553 | Basket Halftone is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins. This route suits players willing to accept another result rather than buyers seeking a specific Basket Halftone copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

SG 553 | Basket Halftone can be bought on the Steam Community Market by selecting an available listing. Check the exterior, float and whether the offered item is standard or Souvenir before purchasing. A direct purchase targets the listed copy instead of relying on a random trade-up result.

4. Trade with Other Players

SG 553 | Basket Halftone can also be acquired through trades with other players. Check the offered item's exterior, exact float and standard or Souvenir status before accepting an exchange. The shared finish name alone does not identify the condition or version being transferred.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The finish's low-cost position makes it approachable as a playable collection item, but does not establish an investment case by itself. Professional ownership adds visibility, while the size of circulating supply and the direction of buying demand remain uncertain. Before buying, selling or trading, compare equivalent versions and exteriors, then inspect each copy's exact float.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinct orange halftone design gives it a clear identity

• Souvenir availability broadens its collecting options

• Named professional owners add visibility

• Low-cost entry point for a Radiant Collection holding

The investment outlook is medium-to-poor, reflecting an inexpensive skin with professional ownership but an uncertain case for appreciation. Its distinctive finish and Souvenir option support interest as a playable or collectible item rather than proving future price growth. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, so ownership by professional players should not be treated as a promise of returns.
