SG 553 | Desert Blossom

SG 553 | Desert Blossom is a CS2 rifle skin for the Terrorist-side SG 553. Pink and reddish flowers cover a cracked tan-and-brown receiver, framed by dark furniture and a pale pink barrel. The finish suits players who prefer floral detail combined with muted, earthy colors. Regular and Souvenir copies are available across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, without a StatTrak™ version.

Description

SG 553 | Desert Blossom brings a floral Anodized Airbrushed finish to the scoped Terrorist rifle in CS2. The weapon provides a scoped option for long-range engagements. Its visual identity centers on flowers spread across a dry-looking, cracked receiver rather than an uninterrupted decorative surface. Pink and muted red details add color without extending the floral treatment across every weapon part. The dark scope, stock and grip frame the patterned body, keeping the receiver as the main focal point. This combination suits players building an earthy loadout or looking for floral artwork with a restrained surrounding palette. Buyers can choose between regular and Souvenir versions, depending on whether they prefer the standard item or a tournament-linked variant. Exterior and exact float value are useful comparison points when selecting a particular copy, separate from the choice of version.

History and Origin

SG 553 | Desert Blossom was released on September 21, 2021. It arrived as part of the Operation Riptide update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The skin belongs to The 2021 Mirage Collection. Its original collection release is distinct from the Souvenir Package route through which Souvenir copies can be obtained today. Souvenir availability spans 8 packages, including the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Mirage Souvenir Package. Regular copies can be pursued through collection trade-ups, although the result is random among that collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins. Existing copies can also be bought on the Steam Community Market or acquired through trades with other players.

Finish Style

Desert Blossom uses an Anodized Airbrushed finish that places floral imagery over a parched, fractured background. The receiver carries a tan-and-brown base, giving the central body an earthy foundation. Dark branching lines cross that base, creating the appearance of cracks beneath the flowers. Pink and muted reddish blossoms spread densely across the receiver rather than forming a single isolated emblem. Small green accents add another color within the floral pattern without dominating it. The barrel and front sight assembly are pale pink, with darker markings around the muzzle and sight. Dark gray to black coloring covers the handguard, scope, stock and pistol grip. The plain gray magazine has long vertical ribs and remains visually separate from the floral body. Together, the patterned receiver and mostly plain surrounding parts create a clear contrast between detailed artwork and restrained hardware.

Float Value

The float value of SG 553 | Desert Blossom ranges from 0.00 to 0.49. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak version; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

SG 553 | Desert Blossom has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity classification, which is separate from its exterior. Its acquisition chance from The 2021 Mirage Collection is 0.8%, or about 1 in 125 outcomes. FalleN, SPUNJ and kraghen own the skin, providing documented professional ownership without establishing how broadly it is sought.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pink flowers contrast with the cracked, earthy receiver

• Dark furniture keeps attention on the floral artwork

• Regular and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options

• Broad exterior availability gives buyers flexibility

Price Range

The live SG 553 | Desert Blossom price range is $1.48 to $45.00. These bounds cover the whole item, not fixed prices for a particular exterior or version. Compare regular and Souvenir listings separately, checking the exterior and exact float alongside the asking price. A preferred condition should guide the search rather than assuming every copy within an exterior has an identical float. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, buyers and sellers should compare matching versions and conditions before deciding whether a listing fits their needs.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a Mirage Souvenir Package that includes this skin, such as the Stockholm 2021 Mirage Souvenir Package or Antwerp 2022 Mirage Souvenir Package. This route produces a Souvenir version, but the package result is not guaranteed to be Desert Blossom.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A contract using 10 Industrial Grade skins from The 2021 Mirage Collection produces 1 Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. Desert Blossom is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy on the Steam Community Market by choosing a listing for the desired exterior and version. Check whether the item is regular or Souvenir, then review its condition before purchasing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Desert Blossom can also be acquired by trading with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float and regular or Souvenir version before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Market listings include regular and Souvenir copies, giving traders different exterior and version combinations to compare. Professional ownership offers a documented interest signal, but it does not establish broad demand or predictable resale speed. Compare float value, exterior and version before buying, selling or trading, while treating current supply trends and future price movement as uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible price level for collection-focused buyers

• Valve-created finish with a defined Mirage collection identity

• Souvenir versions linked to Mirage tournament packages

• Documented ownership by professional players

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by an accessible price level, collection identity and documented professional ownership. These features offer reasons to consider holding the skin without establishing a reliable growth trend. The main risk is uncertain supply and demand, so professional ownership and Souvenir availability should not be treated as promises of returns.
