SG 553 | Bleached

SG 553 | Bleached is a CS2 rifle skin that covers the Terrorist-side scoped weapon in overlapping animal-skull artwork. Bone-white, beige and tan shapes mix with dark patches, giving the rifle a dense, mottled appearance. The finish suits players who prefer neutral colors with detailed artwork, and it comes in every exterior with standard and Souvenir versions available.

Description

SG 553 | Bleached is a CS2 skin for the SG 553, a Terrorist-exclusive scoped rifle suited to long-range engagements. Its Spray-Paint finish uses animal skulls as the central motif, spreading the artwork across much of the weapon rather than isolating it on the receiver. Pale skull shapes contrast with dark eye sockets and irregular brown and black markings, creating detail within an otherwise restrained color palette. The barrel and scope carry the same mottled colors, helping the finish feel consistent across the rifle's different components. This look suits players who want a bone-toned weapon with busy artwork rather than broad areas of uninterrupted color. Professional players FalleN, TaZ and tarik have owned the skin, although that ownership does not establish how frequently it trades. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies, with the full set of exterior labels available across the finish. When comparing listings, the useful distinctions are the version, exterior, exact float value and appearance of the individual copy.

History and Origin

SG 553 | Bleached was released on September 21, 2021, as part of the Operation Riptide update. It belongs to The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, which identifies its collection origin separately from the weapon and finish names. Valve created the skin, so its design origin is not attributed to a community Workshop creator. The artwork centers on animal skulls, while its flavor text reinforces the idea of remains without describing a separate historical event. Its in-game flavor text is "All that remains". The Souvenir version is associated with 6 packages, including the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package. Another supported example is the Antwerp 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package, giving buyers a different package name to check when browsing. Today, acquisition routes include opening a compatible Souvenir Package, buying through a marketplace or arranging a trade with another player.

Finish Style

Bleached uses a Spray-Paint finish with a pale base of bone-white, beige and tan interrupted by dark brown and black patches. Overlapping animal skulls cover the body, combining light shapes with dark eye sockets that make the central motif visible within the mottling. The receiver carries dense artwork rather than a clean panel of color, keeping the visual emphasis on the pattern itself. Similar markings continue over the handguard, stock and magazine, giving these separate parts a shared palette and texture. The barrel and scope also carry mottled colors, with darker areas concentrated around the muzzle and the scope opening. Dark stripes and shaded markings pick out the handguard ribs, pistol grip and stock, adding contrast around the rifle's contours. Little uninterrupted color remains, so the overall impression is busy even though the palette stays within neutral tones. The resulting look is skeletal and earthy, appealing to players who prefer detailed surface artwork without bright, saturated accents.

Float Value

SG 553 | Bleached has a float range of 0.00 to 0.50, so buyers can compare exact float values within its supported limits. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior categories excluded. Souvenir versions are available; version availability is a separate consideration from the cosmetic condition shown by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

SG 553 | Bleached is Consumer Grade, and that classification should be considered separately from its exterior condition or Souvenir status. Its acquisition chance from The 2021 Dust 2 Collection is 16.0%, a collection-specific figure rather than a stated probability for every package. Documented ownership by FalleN, TaZ and tarik adds professional-player context, but does not turn the rarity grade into evidence of scarce supply or strong resale demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Overlapping animal skulls give the rifle a distinctive visual theme

• Bone-white and tan colors suit neutral-toned loadouts

• Artwork extends across the body, barrel and scope

• Every exterior is available, alongside Souvenir options

Price Range

The live SG 553 | Bleached price range is $0.05 to $2.50. Its low price level makes the finish relevant to buyers looking for detailed rifle artwork with a modest purchase budget. Compare listings within the same exterior before deciding whether a different float value justifies the asking price. Standard and Souvenir copies are separate buying options, so match the version as well as the condition when comparing offers. Use item images alongside the current CS2 skin price to judge the actual copy rather than relying only on its exterior label.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

A Souvenir copy can be obtained by opening a compatible Dust II Souvenir Package containing this finish. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package and the Antwerp 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package. Opening a package provides an acquisition route, but does not guarantee that the result will be SG 553 | Bleached.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market is a direct buying route for SG 553 | Bleached, without opening a Souvenir Package. Look for the required standard or Souvenir version and the desired exterior when browsing listings. Compare the asking price, listed float and item details before selecting a copy.

4. Trade with Other Players

SG 553 | Bleached can also be acquired through a player-to-player trade using items another player is willing to accept. Confirm whether the offered rifle is standard or Souvenir, then check its exterior and float value. Evaluate the proposed exchange against current listings rather than assuming professional ownership or the skull design establishes its trading value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The low price level and Consumer Grade rarity support treating Bleached primarily as a playable cosmetic rather than building an investment case around scarcity. Professional ownership provides useful context, but it does not establish trading volume, dependable demand or future price growth. Buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching versions and exteriors, while recognizing that neither a shrinking supply nor an established price trend is confirmed.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive animal-skull artwork

• Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Accessible price level for cosmetic buyers

The investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting the low price level and Consumer Grade classification without confirmed evidence of supply pressure or sustained resale demand. Its detailed finish and Souvenir options provide reasons to own it as a cosmetic, but not a basis for promising appreciation. The main risk is mistaking an inexpensive entry point or professional ownership for evidence that a later sale will be profitable.
