Nova | Windblown

Nova | Windblown is a CS2 shotgun skin with a randomized dandelion pattern over a muted blue-gray base. Pale cream plants and drifting seeds decorate the weapon, with denser artwork across the stock. The botanical finish suits players who prefer subdued colors and organic patterns. It comes in every exterior, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Nova | Windblown brings a field-inspired design to the Nova, a shotgun in CS2's Heavy weapon category. Its pale plant silhouettes stand out against blue-gray surfaces without relying on bright colors. Dandelion seed heads and sweeping stems give the finish a recognizable botanical theme. The look suits nature-inspired loadouts or players seeking a restrained shotgun design with detailed artwork. The underlying weapon is a budget-minded choice for ambushes when a team's funds are limited. Buyers can choose from Factory New through Battle-Scarred rather than being restricted to a narrow selection of exteriors. Ordinary, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions provide separate options to consider when choosing a copy. Comparing the exact float value, version, and pictured pattern helps buyers select a listing that matches their preferences.

History and Origin

Nova | Windblown was released in CS:GO on May 3, 2021. Its arrival accompanied the Snakebite Case Skins update and the introduction of the Snakebite Case. Steam Workshop community designer MGBazz created the finish, giving the shotgun its dandelion-field theme. The skin belongs to The Snakebite Collection, connecting its collection identity to that original case release. Its lawn-themed flavor text adds a playful note to the otherwise subdued botanical artwork. The Snakebite Case no longer drops after Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. That retirement ended new case drops, but existing Snakebite Cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Today, players can also obtain the skin through Steam Community Market purchases or trades with other players.

Finish Style

Windblown uses the Spray-Paint finish style to place a randomized dandelion-field pattern across the shotgun. The barrel, receiver, and ribbed fore-end carry a muted blue-gray base interrupted by pale cream patches. Thin stems and small drifting seed shapes extend along the barrel and receiver, linking the botanical elements across those surfaces. Toward the muzzle, the decoration is relatively sparse, leaving more of the dark base visible. The stock and grip feature a denser cream-and-dark arrangement, creating a busier section of the design. Large round dandelion seed heads and sweeping stems form the main visual features on the stock. Dark blue-gray also remains visible between the pale markings and within the fore-end grooves. The randomized pattern makes the pictured layout worth inspecting, especially for buyers who favor particular placements of the larger plant shapes.

Float Value

The Nova | Windblown float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but those version labels are separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Windblown has Mil-Spec Grade rarity within The Snakebite Collection. Its drop chance from the Snakebite Case is 11.42%, making case opening a chance-based acquisition route rather than a certain result. Documented professional owners include tarik, n0thing, and ZywOo, although ownership alone does not establish market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted blue-gray and cream colors suit restrained loadouts

• Dandelion seed heads give the shotgun a distinct botanical identity

• Every exterior category is available

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional choices

Price Range

The live Nova | Windblown price range is $0.18 to $25.00. Its budget-friendly price bracket makes it accessible for players choosing a decorative Nova without a large purchase commitment. Exterior and exact float value help distinguish the cosmetic condition of individual listings. Ordinary, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies should be compared as separate versions, without assuming their asking prices match. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check the listed version, exterior, float, and pictured pattern before deciding which copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Snakebite Case

Opening a Snakebite Case offers a chance to obtain Nova | Windblown, with a drop probability of 11.42%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. This route remains available despite the case's retirement, although the skin is not a guaranteed result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Nova | Windblown can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of attempting a case opening. Check the exterior and version attached to each listing before committing to a purchase. This route allows buyers to select a listed skin rather than depend on the case's outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain Nova | Windblown by trading with other players who own it. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float value, and version, then inspect its dandelion pattern before agreeing to the exchange. Keep those details clear when discussing which items each player will trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit new Snakebite Case supply, but existing cases can still produce additional Windblown copies. Professional ownership provides some visibility, while future buying demand and price trends remain uncertain. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare ordinary, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions separately rather than treat case retirement as evidence of rising prices.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Snakebite Case drops

• Distinctive dandelion artwork across the Nova

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Factory New, StatTrak, and Souvenir options

The investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting budget pricing and a Mil-Spec Grade skin with an 11.42% case chance. Retired case drops and professional ownership offer some support, but neither establishes sustained buying demand. The main risk is expecting retirement to raise resale prices while existing cases can still add copies.
