Nova | Marsh Grass

Nova | Marsh Grass is a CS2 shotgun skin with a Hydrographic finish built around dense marsh vegetation. Tan and yellow grass markings cross a dark olive-brown base, giving the weapon a busy, earthy appearance. The look suits players who prefer muted colors and patterned surfaces over bright accents. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with Souvenir versions available.

Description

Nova | Marsh Grass is a CS2 skin for the Nova shotgun in the Heavy weapon category. Its Hydrographic finish uses grass-like shapes to create a continuous, vegetation-focused design across much of the weapon. The barrel, receiver and stock share a dark olive-brown base with lighter tan and yellow markings. Pattern coverage extends almost the full length of the shotgun, rather than concentrating on a single decorative panel. That restrained palette suits earthy loadouts, while the overlapping stems give the surface plenty of visual detail. The underlying Nova serves as a budget-conscious ambush weapon, making this finish relevant to players who regularly choose that role. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies, with exterior condition providing another distinction between listings. Comparing the exact float, version and visible finish helps buyers select a copy that matches their preferred appearance.

History and Origin

Nova | Marsh Grass was released in CS2 on March 31, 2025. Its arrival formed part of the "Spring 2025 Skins" update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin belongs to The Radiant Collection, which establishes its collection origin independently of its exterior condition. Its flavor text makes a playful reference to touching grass, connecting the wording to the vegetation shown on the weapon. Today, existing copies can be purchased through the Steam Community Market. Player-to-player trading provides another acquisition route by exchanging items with an owner.

Finish Style

The Hydrographic finish gives Marsh Grass a dense, mottled surface built from overlapping vegetation shapes. A dark olive-brown foundation covers the barrel, receiver and stock, keeping these major sections visually connected. Tan and yellow markings sit across that base, creating contrast without introducing a bright primary color. Thin stems cross at different angles, while irregular patches fill the spaces between them. The ribbed fore-end is mostly muted olive and tan, with pale highlights following its raised ridges. Closely spaced, curved pale lines also appear around the narrow grip area. The trigger and sights remain dark, providing plain details within the otherwise busy design. Because the grass pattern stretches almost the full length of the shotgun, the finish reads as a coordinated treatment rather than isolated accents.

Float Value

The Nova | Marsh Grass float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.55. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is missing. Souvenir versions are available; Souvenir status is separate from the float value used to determine cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Marsh Grass has Consumer Grade rarity within The Radiant Collection. Its stated chance of being received from that collection is 6.67%, about 1 in 15. Professional players Snax, olofmeister and jdm64 own the skin, providing specific ownership examples without establishing how broadly it is sought by buyers.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive, tan and yellow colors suit earthy loadouts

• Dense grass markings give the shotgun a distinctive surface

• All exterior categories offer condition choices

• Souvenir versions provide an additional collecting option

Price Range

The live Nova | Marsh Grass price range is $0.01 to $4.17, covering the skin as a whole. Exterior labels separate condition categories, while exact float values allow a more precise comparison between individual copies. Standard and Souvenir listings should also be distinguished, because version differences are relevant to the purchase. Regular copies occupy a low price level, while Souvenir options contribute to the broader pricing spread. When comparing a CS2 skin price, match the listing's exterior, float and version rather than assuming every Marsh Grass copy represents the same purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Nova | Marsh Grass can be bought on the Steam Community Market by choosing an available listing. Check the exterior, exact float and whether the copy is a Souvenir before selecting it. Direct purchasing allows buyers to choose an existing item rather than depend on the collection's stated acquisition chance.

3. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Marsh Grass can also be obtained through a trade with another player who owns it. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float and Souvenir status when assessing the exchange. Agree on the exact item and what will be exchanged before completing the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular versions have a low price level, while Souvenir options create a broader spread of listing prices. Current supply trends and sustained buyer demand remain uncertain, so those differences should not be treated as evidence of long-term appreciation. For a buy, sell or trade decision, compare the exact exterior, float and version instead of treating all copies as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive olive-and-tan marsh artwork

• Souvenir versions offer a separate collecting option

• Ownership by Snax, olofmeister and jdm64

• Accessible regular copies suit budget-focused buyers

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, given the low price level of regular copies and limited evidence of sustained demand. Souvenir availability and professional ownership provide collecting interest, but neither establishes a reliable appreciation trend. The main risk is paying for a copy that later attracts insufficient buyer interest to support the intended resale.
