Nova | Dark Sigil

Nova | Dark Sigil is a CS2 shotgun skin featuring longship and dragon artwork across a dark Custom Paint Job finish. Pale gray motifs and orange-brown details give the weapon an illustrated look without covering the barrel in dense decoration. It suits players who prefer intricate imagery and a restrained palette. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Nova | Dark Sigil brings detailed nautical and dragon imagery to a shotgun in CS2's Heavy weapon category. Its Custom Paint Job combines a charcoal foundation with pale gray illustrations and orange-brown accents. The artwork concentrates around the pump, receiver and stock, leaving the long barrel comparatively plain. That balance suits players who want a decorated weapon without bright colors dominating its entire silhouette. The underlying Nova is an economical ambush weapon for teams working with limited funds. Buyers can choose among the available exteriors while keeping the same overall artistic theme. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional distinctions when comparing listings. Professional players device, GuardiaN and kennyS own the skin, although ownership alone does not establish broad market demand. For a purchase intended primarily for play, the item's inspected appearance, float value and version are useful comparison points.

History and Origin

Nova | Dark Sigil was released on February 6, 2024. It arrived with the Kilowatt Case in the "First Actual CS2 Skins" update. Steam Workshop community designer apel8 created the finish. The skin belongs to The Kilowatt Collection, which identifies its collection origin separately from the case used to obtain it. Its flavor text evokes an emergence through the fog of battle, complementing the finish's dark imagery. Today, opening a Kilowatt Case remains an acquisition route rather than merely a detail of its original release. As of October 9, 2026, the case is in the Weekly Care Package drop pool, so new copies continue entering the market. Buyers can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade.

Finish Style

Dark Sigil uses the Custom Paint Job style to give the Nova an illustrated surface. The barrel is dark charcoal, with a thin pale line following its upper edge. A light ring around the muzzle adds a small contrasting detail at the front. Orange-brown artwork covers the ribbed pump and lower receiver. Dark outlines and tightly packed linear marks give those areas a dense, graphic texture. Pale gray longship and dragon motifs spread across the dark receiver and stock. The black grip has curved horizontal ribs that remain visually distinct from the illustrated sections. A narrow orange-brown border outlines the butt, carrying the warm accent color toward the rear. The comparatively plain barrel balances the concentrated decoration around the pump, receiver and stock.

Float Value

Nova | Dark Sigil has a float range of 0.00 to 0.698529. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, and those version labels should be checked separately from the item's float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Dark Sigil is a Mil-Spec Grade skin from The Kilowatt Collection. Its stated chance from the Kilowatt Case is 11.42%, making case acquisition a possibility rather than a guaranteed result. The case's weekly drop availability keeps new supply entering circulation, while documented ownership includes device, GuardiaN and kennyS.

Why it’s Popular:

• Longship and dragon imagery gives the shotgun a distinctive theme

• Dark colors balance the detailed orange-brown artwork

• All exterior grades offer different condition choices

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions add collecting options

Price Range

The live Nova | Dark Sigil price range is $0.03 to $1.70. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Its low price level makes it an accessible option, but individual listings still need careful comparison. Check the exterior, exact float value and whether the copy is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir before deciding which listing fits. Buyers comparing CS2 skin prices should also inspect the item image rather than relying on the exterior label alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Kilowatt Case

Open the Kilowatt Case for a chance to receive Nova | Dark Sigil, with a stated skin drop chance of 11.42%. The case is in the weekly drop pool as of October 9, 2026, but opening it does not guarantee this finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Nova | Dark Sigil on the Steam Community Market to choose an existing listing instead of relying on a case result. Compare the listed exterior, float value and version, then inspect the item before purchasing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns Nova | Dark Sigil to acquire an existing copy. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float value and version in the trade offer before accepting, especially when similar-looking listings have different condition labels.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Kilowatt Case's weekly drop status replenishes supply, which matters when assessing opportunities to buy, sell or trade this inexpensive skin. Professional ownership provides visibility, but broader demand and resale speed remain uncertain. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings separately, using exterior and float details rather than assuming every copy has the same trading appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible price level supports affordable ownership

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive longship and dragon artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer collecting choices

Nova | Dark Sigil receives a medium-to-poor investment rating: its accessible price and professional ownership offer some support, but not evidence of sustained price growth. The main risk is continuing supply from the weekly drop pool, which limits a scarcity-based investment argument and makes returns uncertain.
