Nova | Interlock

Nova | Interlock is a CS2 shotgun skin with a yellow-and-blue hydrographic finish. Interlocking angular bands cover the receiver and stock, contrasting with the mostly solid-colored front end. Its busy optical design suits players who prefer bright colors and geometric patterns. Regular and Souvenir copies are available across every exterior, but there is no StatTrak™ version.

Description

Nova | Interlock gives the Nova shotgun a bright, geometric identity in CS2. Valve's design combines a yellow barrel with dark navy components, keeping the front end visually distinct from the patterned body. Across the receiver and stock, angular bands create an optical illusion rather than a simple stripe or camouflage layout. The finer pattern around the grip adds another visual detail for buyers inspecting the finish closely. This look suits yellow-and-blue loadouts and players who prefer a patterned weapon over a restrained finish. The underlying Nova is positioned as a low-cost ambush weapon, a gameplay role separate from the skin's market price. Buyers can choose a regular copy or a Souvenir edition without changing the finish's collection identity. When selecting a listing, the useful distinctions are its exterior, exact float value, version and visible condition.

History and Origin

Nova | Interlock was released on September 21, 2021, as part of the Operation Riptide update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. It belongs to The 2021 Vertigo Collection, which also determines the collection-specific route used in Trade Up Contracts. Today, regular copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market or obtained through trades with other players. Collection-based trade-ups provide another acquisition route, although the resulting Mil-Spec Grade skin is random. Souvenir editions can be obtained from compatible Vertigo Souvenir Packages, with 6 packages associated with the skin. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Vertigo Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Vertigo Souvenir Package, separating its Souvenir availability from its original collection release.

Finish Style

The Interlock finish uses a yellow-and-blue Hydrographic design built around repeating angular bands. Bright yellow covers the barrel, establishing a strong color accent along the shotgun's front end. The ribbed pump grip is dark navy blue, contrasting clearly with the barrel above it. The tube beneath the barrel also uses dark navy, keeping the forward components relatively simple in color. On the receiver and stock, yellow and blue shapes interlock across the broad surfaces. Their repeating arrangement creates the optical illusion that defines the finish's visual character. Around the grip area, the pattern becomes finer and more densely lined, adding detail in a smaller space. The overall effect balances busy bodywork against mostly solid-colored front components, so the pattern has a clear focal area.

Float Value

Nova | Interlock has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no standard exterior is missing. Regular and Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak edition; version choice remains separate from the item's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Interlock has Mil-Spec Grade rarity within The 2021 Vertigo Collection. Its stated collection acquisition chance is 0.8%, or about 1 in 125 results, rather than a guarantee from an individual attempt. Professional players NertZ, Patti and RAALZ own the skin, providing evidence of professional ownership without establishing broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright yellow and navy colors create clear contrast

• Interlocking bands give the shotgun a distinctive optical pattern

• Every exterior is available for different condition preferences

• Souvenir editions offer an alternative to regular copies

Price Range

The live Nova | Interlock CS2 skin price ranges from $3.39 to $200.00. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, not a guaranteed price for any particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings by their individual float values and visible condition. Regular and Souvenir copies are separate buying options, so verify the version before comparing offers. For a useful buy, sell or trade comparison, match the item details rather than treating the overall range as a valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a compatible Vertigo Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain a Souvenir copy. The Stockholm 2021 Vertigo Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Vertigo Souvenir Package are examples among the 6 associated packages. Opening a package provides a random result, not a way to select this finish directly.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Industrial Grade skins from The 2021 Vertigo Collection to produce 1 Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. Nova | Interlock is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins, so this route requires accepting uncertainty before committing the inputs.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random acquisition result. Check the item's exterior, float value and regular or Souvenir status to confirm that the listing matches the intended purchase.

5. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Interlock can also be obtained by trading with other players. Before agreeing to a swap, inspect the exact item and compare its exterior, float value and Souvenir status with the skins being offered.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Professional ownership gives Interlock some visibility, but it does not prove strong demand across the wider CS2 market. Buyers and sellers can compare regular and Souvenir listings across every supported exterior, checking float value rather than relying on the wear label alone. Future supply and resale trends remain uncertain, so there is no firm basis for treating it as a dependable short-term flip.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive yellow-and-blue optical design

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir editions add a separate collecting option

• Valve-created finish from The 2021 Vertigo Collection

Nova | Interlock receives a medium editorial investment rating, supported by its distinctive finish, professional ownership and Souvenir collecting options. Those features provide reasons to collect it, but they do not establish sustained trading demand or future appreciation. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, making it easier to justify as a preferred play skin than as a return-driven purchase.
