Short Description

Nova | Wild Six is a CS2 shotgun skin with a Gunsmith finish built around post-apocalyptic imagery. Orange-brown panels, teal accents and distressed graphics give the weapon a deliberately rough appearance. Its busy design suits players who prefer weathered equipment over a uniform paint scheme. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Nova | Wild Six gives the Heavy-category shotgun a custom-painted identity with contrasting colors and faded markings. The Nova's inexpensive in-game role makes it suited to ambushes when a team's equipment budget is limited. Its finish uses rough-looking panels and worn-looking graphics to establish a post-apocalyptic theme. Orange-brown sections contrast with teal details, while the darker barrel keeps the front of the weapon visually restrained. The accompanying flavor text emphasizes personal control over the weapon rather than a polished military presentation. This look suits players building a loadout around distressed textures, earthy colors or teal accents. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different choices without changing the finish's central design. Buyers can compare the exterior, exact float value and version to find a copy that matches their preferences.

History and Origin

Nova | Wild Six was released on February 14, 2018. It arrived alongside the Clutch Case in the update titled "Clutch Case Skins". Steam Workshop community designer DasDas created the finish, giving it a community-made origin. The skin belongs to The Clutch Collection, which also defines its collection-specific trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Clutch Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement has not removed the case-opening route. Today, direct marketplace purchases, player trades and eligible trade-up contracts provide alternatives to obtaining the skin from a case.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish presents a custom-painted, post-apocalyptic design rather than a clean, uniform surface. Dark charcoal covers most of the barrel and magazine tube, creating a subdued foundation at the front. Pale blue-green marks break up the barrel's dark coloring without dominating that section. The receiver and ribbed fore-end combine orange, ochre and brown with dark streaks and scuffed-looking patches. Faded lettering and small graphic details appear along the side above the fore-end. Across the stock, teal-green panels meet orange-brown sections and dark bands, continuing the contrasting palette. A large pale "06" near the butt provides a distinct graphic feature on the rear of the weapon. Uneven coloring, contrasting outlines and distressed details make the overall design deliberately busy, with visual texture built into the artwork.

Float Value

The Nova | Wild Six float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but those version labels are separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Wild Six has the Restricted rarity grade within The Clutch Collection. Its stated chance of appearing from a Clutch Case is 3.2%, so opening a case does not assure this particular result. Professional players KRIMZ, tarik and mixwell have owned the skin, providing documented ownership without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Post-apocalyptic graphics give the shotgun a distinctive visual theme

• Teal and orange-brown panels suit contrasting loadout colors

• All exterior grades provide a broad choice of conditions

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

Price Range

The live Nova | Wild Six price range is $0.30 to $5.74. Exterior labels separate the condition choices, while exact float helps buyers compare copies within the same exterior. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should be checked as separate listing types rather than assumed to share a price. These live bounds cover the whole skin, not a guaranteed price for any particular exterior or version. For a buy, sell or trade decision, match the item's details before using another CS2 skin listing as a price reference.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Clutch Case

Open a Clutch Case for a chance to receive Nova | Wild Six, with a stated chance of 3.2%. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, although no new Clutch Cases drop.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Clutch Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Wild Six is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the skin directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case or trade-up result. Check the listed exterior, exact float and version before comparing offers for the copy being considered.

5. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Wild Six can also be obtained through trades with other players. Match the offered item's exterior, float and version to the intended copy before agreeing on a swap.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Clutch Case receives no new drops, although existing cases can still introduce additional copies of the skin when opened. Its accessible price level and professional ownership provide context, but neither establishes consistent buying demand or a future price trend. When buying, selling or trading, compare exterior, exact float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir versions rather than treating every copy as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Clutch Case supply receives no new drops

• Documented ownership by KRIMZ, tarik and mixwell

• Distinctive post-apocalyptic artwork with contrasting colors

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions add collecting choices

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, an accessible price level and documented professional ownership. Existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add copies, so case retirement does not make the skin's supply fixed. The main risk is uncertain demand: professional ownership and distinctive artwork do not establish future price growth.
