Nova | Clear Polymer was released on December 3, 2020. It arrived with the Operation Broken Fang update and the Operation Broken Fang Case. Steam Workshop community designer Strenson created the finish. The skin belongs to The Operation Broken Fang Collection, which also supports its trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Operation Broken Fang Case no longer drops, so new drops do not replenish its supply. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Today, direct purchases, player trades and eligible Trade Up Contracts provide additional ways to obtain the skin.

Finish Style

Clear Polymer uses a Custom Paint Job to imitate a transparent casing. The barrel is dark gray, with pale blue highlights along its surface. A small bright green detail near the muzzle echoes the green accents elsewhere. The receiver, ribbed pump and grip have translucent-looking gray surfaces that suggest mechanisms beneath. A prominent silver coil runs through the pump area below the barrel. Fine lines and small green markings add detail along the receiver. The stock continues the pale gray shell effect and ends in a dark butt plate. Mechanical details concentrate around the pump and receiver, leaving the overall design restrained rather than heavily decorated.
