Nova | Plume

Nova | Plume is a CS2 shotgun skin featuring brown feather artwork over a wooden receiver and stock. Ochre accents, cream details and a speckled barrel give it a warm, patterned appearance. The finish suits players who prefer natural colors and illustrated textures. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Nova | Plume is a Custom Paint Job skin for the Nova, a shotgun in CS2's Heavy weapon category. Its brown, ochre and cream palette gives the weapon a coordinated feather-themed appearance. The illustrated receiver contrasts with the darker stock, where visible wood grain leaves more room around the feather markings. Detailing also extends across the pump grip and barrel rather than stopping at the main body. This approach suits players building a warm-toned loadout or choosing a shotgun with an organic visual theme. Busy artwork provides the focal point, while the restrained colors keep the overall presentation grounded. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies offer different ownership options without changing the skin's underlying design. Buyers can compare the exact exterior, float value and version, then inspect how the finish appears on the listed copy.

History and Origin

Nova | Plume was released in CS:GO on November 18, 2019, during the Operation Shattered Web update. It arrived alongside the Shattered Web Case, establishing the case-opening route associated with the finish. Steam Workshop community designer blossomalex created the skin. The item belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which identifies its collection separately from its weapon and rarity. Its original release context differs from today's direct purchase and player-trading options. The Shattered Web Case no longer drops following Valve's retirement of the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, despite the absence of new case drops. Players seeking a specific Plume copy can instead buy an existing listing or arrange a trade rather than rely on a case result.

Finish Style

Plume uses a Custom Paint Job to place feather illustrations over a wooden receiver and stock. Across the receiver, layered brown and ochre shapes create the main feather motif. Dark contours separate those shapes, while lighter accents add contrast within the densely decorated area. The dark-brown stock shows wood grain alongside a smaller spread of long feather markings. Warm brown coloring continues onto the ribbed pump grip, where cream curves and ridge highlights break up the surface. The long barrel shifts toward a tightly packed speckled treatment combining cream and dark brown. Pale metal details around the muzzle and sights provide small interruptions to the darker pattern. Overall, the receiver and barrel carry the busiest decoration, while the broad rear stock gives the design a quieter area.

Float Value

The float value of Nova | Plume ranges from 0.00 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier missing. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, so version type should be checked separately from float and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Plume has Mil-Spec Grade rarity. Its chance of appearing when opening the Shattered Web Case is 11.42%, although an individual opening does not promise this result. Professional ownership includes Xyp9x, bodyy and Spiidi, which establishes player visibility without proving broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Feather artwork gives the shotgun a distinctive natural theme

• Warm brown, ochre and cream colors coordinate across the weapon

• Detailed receiver and barrel contrast with a quieter wooden stock

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options suit different ownership preferences

Price Range

The live Nova | Plume CS2 skin price range is $0.30 to $15.29. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings by their exact float values instead of treating each exterior label as a complete description. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies should also be distinguished when evaluating an asking price. Before buying, inspect the selected copy and compare matching variants rather than assuming different versions have equivalent market values.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shattered Web Case

Open the Shattered Web Case for a chance to receive Nova | Plume, with an 11.42% chance of receiving the skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route offers a chance at the skin rather than selection of a particular copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Nova | Plume can be purchased directly through the Steam Community Market. Check the listed exterior and whether the item is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir before buying. Direct purchase allows selection of an existing listing instead of relying on the Shattered Web Case outcome.

4. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Plume can also be obtained through trades with other players. Confirm the item name, exterior, float value and version in the proposed exchange. Compare the offered copy with matching listings before agreeing on the value of the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

With no new Shattered Web Case drops, remaining case supply is depleted whenever existing cases are opened. That constraint affects future case-based supply, but existing Plume copies can still circulate through purchases and trades. Buyers and sellers should compare matching variants, since broader demand and historical price trends remain unclear.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case origin with no new case drops

• Distinctive feather artwork and coordinated natural colors

• Professional ownership by Xyp9x, bodyy and Spiidi

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

Nova | Plume receives a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case origin and professional ownership. Its Mil-Spec Grade rarity and uncertain broader demand limit the strength of that investment case. The main risk is that reduced case supply may not translate into stronger skin prices, so returns should not be assumed.
