Nova | Army Sheen

Nova | Army Sheen is a CS2 shotgun skin for the Nova in the Heavy weapon category. Dark olive-green, brown, and near-black camouflage covers the receiver and stock, with metallic highlights across the patterned surface. Its subdued military look suits players building an earth-tone loadout rather than a brightly colored inventory. Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested exteriors are available, alongside Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

Nova | Army Sheen gives the CS2 shotgun a camouflage finish with a metallic surface rather than a flat painted appearance. Its Anodized Multicolored finish combines muted colors with scattered reflective details. Irregular mottled shapes across the receiver and stock provide the main visual identity. The comparatively plain barrel and fore-end keep the camouflage concentrated toward the rear of the weapon. This balance suits players who prefer restrained weapon designs with visible texture instead of vivid graphics. Standard and Souvenir versions give buyers different collecting options within the available exterior range. Professional owners include FalleN, s1mple, and f0rest, though ownership alone does not establish broader trading demand. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value, version, and the appearance of individual listings before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

Nova | Army Sheen was released on December 3, 2020. Its debut accompanied the Operation Broken Fang update. The skin entered the game as part of The Ancient Collection, establishing its collection identity. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its flavor text reinforces the military theme by encouraging the user to keep their training in mind. Souvenir availability spans 8 packages, giving collectors another route to the finish beyond buying an existing standard copy. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Today, buyers can seek existing copies through the Steam Community Market or player trades, while eligible Souvenir packages offer a randomized acquisition route.

Finish Style

Army Sheen uses an Anodized Multicolored finish built around camouflage stamped into metallic foil. The receiver and stock carry a dark olive-green, brown, and near-black palette. Their irregular mottled shapes create an uneven camouflage layout rather than a geometric design. Scattered highlights across these areas make the metallic surface visible without changing the subdued color scheme. The long barrel is mostly dark brown-gray, with a narrow bright highlight along its upper edge. A dark gray-black ribbed fore-end gives the front section a comparatively plain appearance. Closely spaced curved light lines add a separate detail around the grip. Together, these elements concentrate patterned detail on the rear half while keeping the barrel and fore-end visually restrained.

Float Value

Nova | Army Sheen has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.30, defining the condition range buyers can compare. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested. Souvenir versions are available, with version choice remaining separate from exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Army Sheen belongs to the Consumer Grade rarity tier within The Ancient Collection. Its acquisition chance from that collection is 16.0%, which describes collection odds rather than a guaranteed package result. Documented professional ownership includes FalleN, s1mple, and f0rest, but does not change the skin's rarity classification.

Why it’s Popular:

• Dark olive camouflage suits muted military-themed loadouts

• Metallic highlights add detail without a bright color palette

• Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested choices

• Souvenir versions offer an additional collecting option

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for Nova | Army Sheen is $0.14 to $1.46. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested listings by both their exterior label and exact float value. Standard and Souvenir copies are distinct buying options, so confirm the version instead of assuming all listings represent the same item. Reviewing each listing's price and visual preview helps buyers choose a suitable copy without relying on the overall range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an eligible Ancient Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain a Souvenir Nova | Army Sheen. Examples include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Opening a package does not guarantee this particular skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Nova | Army Sheen through the Steam Community Market by selecting an existing listing. Check the exterior, float value, and whether the item is a standard or Souvenir version. This route allows buyers to choose a specific copy rather than rely on a randomized package result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Army Sheen can also be acquired through trades with other players. Inspect the offered copy's exterior, float value, and Souvenir status before agreeing to the exchange. Confirm that the version being offered matches the intended purchase or collection goal.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Nova | Army Sheen occupies an accessible price level, with standard and Souvenir copies offering different options for collecting. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare exterior, exact float value, and version rather than treat every copy as interchangeable. Professional ownership provides collecting context, but sustained demand, supply trends, and a long-term price trajectory remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir versions linked to The Ancient Collection

• Distinctive metallic camouflage finish

• Accessible price level for collection building

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting its Consumer Grade rarity and limited evidence for future price growth. Professional ownership and Souvenir options support collecting interest, but do not establish scarcity or sustained trading demand. The main risk is buying for resale gains that future demand may not support.
