Nova | Forest Leaves

Nova | Forest Leaves is a CS2 skin for the Nova shotgun, part of the Heavy weapon category. Its matte green-and-tan finish uses leaf-stenciled patches across the barrel, receiver, fore-end and stock. The subdued camouflage suits woodland-colored loadouts and players who prefer organic shapes to lettering or emblems. Its exteriors run from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, and Souvenir versions are available.

Description

Nova | Forest Leaves gives the CS2 Nova shotgun a muted woodland appearance through a Spray-Paint finish. Olive green, darker green and tan-brown form irregular patches rather than a uniform coating. Leaf outlines provide the main visual detail, mixing softer shapes with more clearly defined edges. The pattern covers both narrow barrel surfaces and broader sections of the receiver and stock. Dark grooves on the fore-end and grip area add contrast without introducing a separate graphic. The look suits players building a restrained green or brown loadout around an ambush shotgun. Its connection to The Aztec Collection also gives collectors a specific collection identity to consider alongside its appearance. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value and regular or Souvenir versions when choosing an individual copy.

History and Origin

Nova | Forest Leaves entered CS:GO on August 14, 2013. Its release was part of the Arms Deal update. The skin arrived with The Aztec Collection, which remains its collection identity in CS2. Valve created the design, rather than a community artist. Its visual concept centers on using leaf shapes as spray-paint stencils to produce botanical camouflage. Today, individual copies can be purchased on the Steam Community Market, allowing buyers to select an available exterior directly. Trades with other players provide another current ownership route, with the offered item determining its condition and version. Current options include regular and Souvenir copies, giving buyers a version choice alongside the available exteriors.

Finish Style

The Forest Leaves finish uses the Spray-Paint style, with leaf stencils shaping the painted areas. Its palette combines olive green, dark green and tan-brown in a muted camouflage treatment. Irregular patches include both soft boundaries and distinct leaf outlines, giving the surface an organic rather than geometric character. The pattern continues along the barrel instead of being confined to the main body of the shotgun. Across the receiver and broad stock surfaces, the same colors create larger areas of mottled texture. The ribbed fore-end retains visibly dark grooves that contrast with the surrounding painted sections. Dark detailing also appears around the narrow grip behind the trigger, separating that area visually from the broader stock. The overall finish looks matte, with no visible lettering or standalone graphic emblem competing with the leaf pattern.

Float Value

The float value of Nova | Forest Leaves ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior tier is missing. Regular and Souvenir versions are available; version choice is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Nova | Forest Leaves has Consumer Grade rarity, a classification separate from its float value and exterior. Its listed Aztec Collection odds are 26.88%, which does not establish present-day market availability or the frequency of listings. The Souvenir option adds another version for collectors to compare without changing the finish's Consumer Grade classification.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted greens and tan suit woodland-colored loadouts

• Leaf-stencil shapes provide detail without lettering or graphic emblems

• Every exterior offers a different condition choice

• Souvenir availability adds a collecting option

Price Range

The live Nova | Forest Leaves price range is $1.99 to $270.00. These bounds cover the whole skin and are not assigned to a particular exterior or version. Compare individual listings by exterior and exact float value, since an exterior name alone does not identify a copy's precise condition. Regular and Souvenir copies should be checked separately rather than assuming that either live bound represents one version. When evaluating a CS2 skin price before a purchase, sale or trade, match the displayed amount to the selected item's details.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for Nova | Forest Leaves, letting buyers choose an available copy rather than an unspecified condition. Check the listing's exterior, float value where available, and whether it is a regular or Souvenir version.

3. Trade with Other Players

Nova | Forest Leaves can also be obtained through trades with other players. Compare the offered copy's exterior and float value with the desired condition, and confirm whether the item is regular or Souvenir. Agreement on the skin name alone does not distinguish all available condition and version combinations.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply and demand trends are not established well enough to support claims of steady growth or easy resale. Buyers and sellers can compare the available exteriors and regular versus Souvenir copies, focusing on the exact item rather than the finish name alone. For a trade, float value and version provide concrete comparison points, while future demand and price direction remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created design with a documented release history

• Established connection to The Aztec Collection

• Souvenir versions offer a separate collecting option

• Leaf-stencil styling suits muted green loadouts

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor: its historical collection connection and Souvenir option are not backed by clear evidence of sustained demand. Its main risk is uncertain resale interest and future price direction, so collection appeal should not be treated as a promise of appreciation.
